°We'll meet again°

The next morning, Charles woke up first, only to find Diana sleeping. She had basically taken over the whole bed, and half of her body was covering Charles himself. Charles stared at her and caressed her cheek. He couldn't believe or even accept the fact that she had to leave. The worst thing was that he was going to see her again in a couple of months. How was he even going to last that long without her? He had no idea. He knew that he had spent a lot of time with her but somehow it wasn't enough. He needed more. He needed more of her.

He also knew that she loved her job very much and he really didn't want her to give it all up for him. She had been working so hard all those years to achieve this, and Charles didn't want to be the reason behind ruining it all.

He looked at his watch. It was a very expensive watch, but that wasn't weird for him since he has a soft spot for those.

He had to wake her up, or else she was going to lose her flight. Charles started caressing her back and putting small kisses on her forehead.

"Bonjour ma chérie" he said with his deep, because of the sleep, voice.

Diana started moving slowly, and after some seconds, she opened her eyes slightly. The first thing she saw was Charles smiling at her. His dimples were very visible at the moment, making Diana smile and hug him tightly. He was still topless because of yesterday's special events.

"You are so handsome," Diana mumbled and closed her eyes, making Charles chuckle.

"Diana, you have to wake up and get ready. You have a flight to catch." He reminded her, and she scoffed in response.

"I don't want to leave." She said, nagging.

"I don't want you to leave either. You know that your job is more important right now." Charles explained.

"Just another five minutes of cuddling, please?" She begged.

"How could I possibly say no to you?" He responded.

Charles moved a bit to make her more comfortable and started caressing her naked back with his hand, while with the other, he was holding her head close to him.

"I will miss you," They both said at the same time, and they chuckled.

Just then, they heard a knock on the door, and they answered instantly.

"Bnjour à tous!" Pascale said. "Sorry if I'm interrupting you. Breakfast  is served downstairs. You have to eat something before the flight, dear."She said, looking at Diana.

"Merci beaucoup!" Diana replied and smiled while Pascale closed the door behind her.

"She is a lovely lady." She commented.

"Definitely an incredible mother. She has been by my side through thick and thin. I wouldn't be where I am today without her." Charles confessed, and Diana smiled.

Charles loved his mother, but he wasn't attached or obsessed with her. Diana was secretly jealous of the healthy relationship that he had with his family. This was something that Diana herself couldn't achieve, no matter how hard she had been trying those past few years.

"We better have some breakfast." She eventually said and stood up, looking at Charles in a judgemental way, since he was nowhere near to getting out of bed.

Diana walked towards the windows and looked out.

"It's a bit cloudy, isn't it? I hope that it won't affect my flight." She commented as she started changing into her normal clothes when she noticed him staring at her, without even trying to hide it.
