°Now I wake up in the night and watch you breathe
Kiss me once 'cause you know I had a long night
Kiss me twice 'cause it's gonna be alright
Three times 'cause I've waited my whole life°

Diana was the one who woke up first. She opened her eyes and saw him sleeping peacfully. She stared at him for a while. He was the cutest person ever to her. She lifted his hand carefully ,since he was still hugging her, and left the room. She got into the bathroom and took a quick shower. When she got out she put on his bathrobe. Then Diana went to the kitchen and tried to make something with what she was able to find in the fridge.

She ended up with two plates which included scrambled eggs and some bacon. It wasn't the best, but it would do. She made some coffee for both of them, and the breakfast was ready.

Just then, Charles walked into the room. He was wearing some shorts and nothing else. He hugged Diana, and she wrapped her hands around his neck.

"Bonjour," she whispered in his ear, and he kissed her.

"You look really good in my bathrobe," he said, "but I prefer you with nothing on," He added and smirked.

Diana blushed, and then they both sat down and ate.

"Was the food okay? I know it wasn't very special." She said when they finished their breakfast.

"It was very good, Diana. And it doesn't have to be special in order to be good, you know that." He said and kissed her on the cheek.

Diana went back to her friends eventually and told them everything about last night. They were shocked and happy at the same time.

"Was he good?" Juliette asked and smirked.

"Juliette!" Diana said.

"He was." Lia added. "You can tell by her reaction."

The days went by very quickly. Diana spended a lot of time with both Charles and her befriends.

It was the night before her flight to Italy. She was playing monopoly with Lia and Juliette when her phone rang.

"Hey Charles." She said when she answered.

"Salut ma chérie" he replied. "Are you ready for tomorrow? I'll pick you up at 6 am so that we'll be at the airport on time."

"Yes, everything is packed and ready." She replied.

"Great!" He said.

"I miss you." Diana said.

"We were together about 2 hours ago,"he replied and laughed.

"The correct answer is I miss you too," she said and laughed too.

"Okay, you are right. I do miss you." He finally said. "You better go to bed now. You have to wake up early tomorrow."

"I guess you have a point. See you tomorrow, " she said and smiled.

"Bonne nuit mon amour"

"Good night, Charles," she replied, and the call ended.

Diana went to say goodnight to her friends but decided to sit a bit with them.

"Diana, I have to ask. Are you two like officially dating?" Juliette asked, full of curiosity.

"I don't know. I mean, we do act like a couple, but we haven't had a talk about it. Isn't it pretty early to talk about that stuff ?" She replied.

She knew that her friend was not in the wrong, but she tried to make an excuse for it.

"You've known him for four days, so if you think of it that way, then yes, it is early. But you are together at least twice times per day. You have slept at his place twice, and you have been doing everything like a couple. He calls you every two hours or so and even texts you. I can not say that he is not interested in you, but he has to seal this behavior somehow." Juliette said.

"Juliette is completely right about that. Plus, you are obviously interested in him too, so why don't you just take it to the next level already?" Lia added.

"I just want to spend some more time with him, just the two of us, so that I can actually see him as a person every day. And this grand prix is the best way to accomplish this. I mean, I'm gonna live in the same room with him for about a week, and I'm gonna see by myself his personality, and especially his relationship with his job."

Juliette and Lia couldn't disagree with her at that one, so they all said goodnight and went to bed.

Diana didn't fall asleep immediately, though. Loads of thoughts were keeping her awake. One of her main concerns was the media situation. She and Charles might have been unnoticed by the annoying paparazzis, but the grand prix is a totally different story. Firstly they are going to see them together almost everywhere. Including the paddock, the race, the hotel, and even the airport. Secondly, everyone is going to ask both of them the kind of questions that are very awkward to answer. But Diana was mostly worried about a certain question, mainly because she did not know the answer. And it was the same question that Juliette asked earlier.

Are they official?

That's when she decided to talk with Charles about this topic tomorrow. She knew that those press conferences could get out of control and that they did have a serious impact on the driver's moral. She wanted to protect him from that, and the only way to do that was by being prepared for every possibility.

She finally fell asleep after a lot of thinking.
