°These fatal fantasies
Giving way to labored breath
Taking all of me
We've already done it in my head
If it's make believe
Why does it feel like a vow
We'll both uphold somehow?
What if he's written 'mine' on my upper thigh
Only in my mind?
One slip and falling back into the hedge maze
Oh what a way to die
My bedsheets are ablaze
I've screamed his name
Building up like waves
Crashing over my grave
Without ever touching his skin
How can I be guilty as sin?°

Diana's alarm woke her up at exactly 7 am. the next day. She got out of bed quickly and headed to the bathroom, where she took a shower and followed her skin care routine as usual. She was about to dry her hair when she heard three loud knocks on the door. A huge wave of confusion rushed over her. She eventually walked out of the bathroom with a towel around her body and her wet hair falling down her shoulders in order to open the door.

Once she did, she faced Charles, who was furious, about to explode. She took a deep breath, but he didn't let her speak.

"Why are you lying?" He asked, his voice dripping with anger.

"About what exactly? According to you, I must be a pathological liar at this point." She said sarcastically.

Charles' chest was rising and falling faster at this point. Before speaking, he took a quick glimpse of her. She was truly beautiful. She had just gotten out of the shower. Her body and hair were soaking wet, making small water drops run down her face and neck. That tiny towel was covering her most private parts, the ones that Charles had explored with religious reverence again and again in the past.

"You lied to those reporters yesterday." He simply said, supporting his head with his hand.

"I don't think I did. In fact, I believe I handled them pretty well." She said, full of confidence.

Charles sighed and took some steps inside her hotel room, closing the door behind him, pushing her against the wall and leaning in.

"We both know very damn well that you didn't apply for this job because you want to help the team." He said, his voice deep, barely above a whisper, making Diana shiver.

"I think you have better things to do than scolding me." Diana said while scanning his face, trying to read his emotions.

"Oh, so you're not trying to prove me wrong? What a surprise!" He said sarcastically.

"Don't you think you're very self-centered to believe that I would leave my perfectly fine life in London just for you?" She said, full of pride.

"Don't you think you're very delusional to believe that I would buy that?" He said, his hands holding her to place.

"There is nothing to buy. I'm telling you the truth." She insisted.

"Liar." He said and released her from his grip, making the towel fall down, exposing her body. Charles' eyes widened for a moment, but he shut them closed a couple of seconds later.

"Jesus Diana." He mumbled.

On the other hand, a smirk was formed on Diana's face. She was going to take a huge advantage of this incident.

"Why so shy? There's nothing you haven't seen already." She said as she remained still.

"Exactly. I don't think I'll be able to resist." He whispered, without opening his eyes.

"Charles.. Why resist? " She whispered back.

"Go to hell, Diana." He said before leaving the room, slamming the door behind him.

Diana smiled, proud of herself for making him lose control, even after so many months. Once she realized that she was going to be late, she got ready as fast as she could and ran to the parking lot of the hotel.

There, she found Carlos, who greeted her warmly, and after complimenting her outfit, he insisted on giving her a drive to the circuit since they were both heading there. Diana refused at first but accepted once she realized that Carlos was not going to give up that easily. She thanked him and got into his luxurious car.

"So today's plan is happening, right?" He asked while he was driving.

"Yeah, sure! Do you have a specific place in mind?" She asked, full of excitement.

"Well, obviously I do, but I'm not going to tell you that. It will be a surprise." He said with a cheeky grin.

Soon, they arrived at their destination, and their ways parted since Carlos had to attend Thursday's press conference, as usual. The reporters were already there, waiting for the first group of drivers to arrive.

Since this was the first actual race weekend, every driver had loads of questions to answer regarding the new season and their plans for those three extremely important days.

Diana, on the other hand, had no intention to come nowhere near to the reporters nor the paparazzis. She had been through enough stuff because of them. She ordered her coffee and ran to the Ferrari building for a meeting with Fred, who was waiting for her in his office.

Fred welcomed her warmly and handed her a folder that was filled with so much paperwork that Diana thought it was about to explode.

"This is the contract that I have to sign in one week." Fred began. "We need money, which means that we need sponsors. Hewlett-Packard has offered us this, but I need you to take a detailed look at it before I sign. It's a big risk, and I don't want the team to pay those small letters that it includes. You are the only person who knows about this and the only person that I trust with such information. I expect your analysis in five days, starting today." He said.

"I won't disappoint you, sir." She said and took the folder in her hands. "And thank you for your trust." She added before leaving his office.
