My word is spinning.....

I cannot see anyone or anything...

But you...

~ Past ~

Mile's room at the frat house was bigger than Apo's whole apartment.

And the place was cheerfully messy, cluttered with guitars of different colours and shapes, and other wires and gadgets related to guitars that Apo was clueless about. His walls were adorned with vintage posters of various bands, Pink Floyd, AC DC, Linkin Park, Arctic Monkeys and many more. Apo turned on his heels reading them with interest. Every little thing about Mile interested him.

However, Mile's study desk was neat, books lined up against the rack, stationeries on the relevant holder, almost like a nerd's desk. Apo knew that Mile wasn't a nerd, not by any stretch. It also puzzled him why Mile chose to study in the faculty of Management and major in Business administration instead of music. He didn't ask and Mile never told him.

"What do you think?"

Apo turned his head to regard Mile's outfit for the party. A pair of skinny jeans with fraying rips along his thighs and knees and a leather jacket over a wife beater completed the rock star image. He was devastatingly handsome in all-black attire Apo couldn't drag his eyes away.

"Fucking hell!" Mile cursed, running his fingers through his tangled strands. "I don't have the time for this." He cried, frustrated.

Apo sighed shaking his head. Sometimes, Mile acted like a big baby, albeit six feet tall.

"I told you to use conditioner on your hair and to blow dry after showering." He walked closer to the irritated man. "If you sleep with wet hair just after a shower, waking up with an awful bedhead is inevitable." He grumbled, slapping Mile's hand away from his head. Reaching up, Apo started to untangle Mile's long spikes running his fingers through the knots carefully. Though the hair on one side of the head was clipped close to the scalp the rest was long with different cascading lengths. The one-side buzz haircut looked good on him if only Mile would take proper care of it. He had naturally silky soft hair that needed minimal care but the man never took care of it properly. "Do you have any hair products?"Apo huffed rising on his toes to tame the wild mane.

"Got some wax I think," Mile grabbed Apo's hip with one hand and leaned aside to reach the dresser behind them to get the tub of wax. The action brought their bodies closer. Apo automatically clutched the man's bicep to stop them both from toppling over. "Sorry," he heard Mile whisper, breath brushing his cheek. His heart started to beat faster like it always did whenever he was close to the man.

Time ticked by. He was waiting for Mile to let go of the firm grasp on the side of his waist after the apology but the man wasn't moving away. Their clothes are almost brushing he can feel the body heat emanating from the other man.

Apo wanted to look up. He wanted to meet Mile's eyes but he was so damn afraid of what might follow after that. So he stayed silent, eyes downcast, waiting, waiting and waiting for something to happen, anything.
