"How deep is your love?

How deep is your love?

I really mean to learn

'Cause we're livin' in a world of fools

Breakin' us down

When they all should let us be

We belong to you and me

How Deep is Your Love"

".... Let me help..."

Bedazzled stylist unbuttoned Mile's blazer, expertly and removed it with one swift movement. His actions were surgical, if Mile observed closely, a tad bit frosty. The man wasn't impolite or anything per se but gone were his playful flirting the other day in place of perfect professionalism. Mile wouldn't notice a thing if it were another situation.

What made the warm, friendly man turn into someone overtly professional? He wondered if Apo told him about their past. The two colleagues behaved like best friends and after the second day of shooting the stylist must have noticed some oddity in their interaction.

"Thank you." Mile bent his head with respect which the stylist acknowledged with a brief nod.

Nevertheless, he still couldn't get over Apo acting like a perfect stranger. He didn't try to talk to him again but he couldn't help his eyes from following the man unintentionally.

Apo had changed, considerably. They both have. It's been more than seven years since he'd last seen his ex-lover.

Ex lover. It hurt to refer to him that way. He didn't think that Apo and he would end up like today. He thought they were the endgame despite everything.

"Do you need my help to pack your things?"

Apo asked walking around his condo and collecting things Mile had left behind throughout the past one and a half years. That's how long they'd been dating. The pile of clothes was getting bigger as Apo laid them on the bed next to Mile.

"AJ and the guys took care of it." Mile ran his fingertips idly in the box guitar he usually kept in Apo's room. "The movers would be arriving this afternoon."

"Hmm..." Apo placed his hands on his hips and looked around his room contemplating. "I think this is it..... apart from your stuff in the bathroom I think I got all of your things here." He dropped his hands and tapped his chin. "We'll need a large travelling bag or if you don't have one you can borrow one of mine." He spoke quickly and started rummaging under the bed. "Did you bring the guitar case....? It's not safe—"

"Apo?"

Mile placed his guitar on the bed and grabbed the talkative man's shoulders.

"Come here, please?" He tugged and the man came plainly. Mile peered into Apo's face but he was avoiding his eyes. "I didn't come here for my stuff, Apo." He whispered. "I came to spend a few hours with you before it's time to leave." He hugged Apo to his chest and planted a kiss on his temple, inhaling the scent greedily, imprinting it to his mind until the next time he could visit which could be weeks after. "I want you to keep everything here like I never left."
