Your lips, my lips....

Apocalypse....

He stared at Apo, bewildered after that bizarre confession, drunken yet seemingly truthful.

"Oops..." Apo covered his mouth, realizing that he just spilt the beans. "Shouldn't have said that." He hiccupped.

"No, no." Mile held Apo's hand and lowered it. "What did you mean by that, Apo?" Mile suspected that Apo had a crush on him but he didn't think it was anything beyond a celebrity crush, something superficial. But, according to the man it's a bit more serious than that.

"Oh, gosh.... I'm fucking drunk.... What did I drink.... Shouldn't have said those things." Apo babbled.

"Apo!" Mile grabbed Apo's face between his palms and focused his gaze firmly on those striking orbs. "I want to know... please explain to me." He whispered each word clearly.

They stayed looking into each other's eyes for a long time.

"I can't seem to stay away from you, Mile." Apo murmured in the end, giving in, eyes lowering with a sigh. "I liked you then and now that I know you for real, I like you more."

Mile's breath started coming in faster. Maybe he too was drunk. Maybe it's the way Apo looked tonight. Maybe he's just going crazy.

"You know what, Apo?" He started, voice gruff with emotions. "I can't seem to stay away from you too."

Apo lifted his eyes, clear and sober than earlier. They were glistening in the dim light, brimming with unshed tears, yet shining like two bright stars.

Mile made a decision. He's not a man to beat around the bushes. And he's not scared to try new things. He'll think about the repercussions later. He knew that Apo wanted him.

And he really really wanted to taste those velvety soft, Fuschia lips, badly.

Dropping one hand to cup Apo's chin and the other on his shoulder Mile leaned closer. Apo looked back with slightly parted lips and wide eyes. Mile was so close he could almost taste the other man's breath against his lips. But at the last minute, Apo grabbed Mile's wrist and lowered the hand on his chin, turning his face aside.

Mile's lips landed on the heated, soft cheek.

"We can't..." Apo murmured, shivering a little.

"Why not..." Mile brushed his nose along the cheekbone, inhaling deeply, his voice gruff with want. Apo smelled so good, his stomach tightened with arousal. Blood rushed south so fast, he felt dizzy all of a sudden.

But Apo was determined. He didn't turn his face and let Mile kiss him.

"Gosh... I can't believe I'm saying this..." Apo chuckled humorlessly. Then he placed his palms on Mile's chest and gently pushed him away. "Because you have a girlfriend, Mile." He lifted his eyes, sad and regretful. "It'll be cheating..... and I'll... I'll never be the reason for a break up..... I'll never do that to another person." Apo took in a deep breath and got to his feet swaying a little.
