Our tale starts many years ago, taking place on a Caribbean island in the Atlantic Ocean.

This island, named Dead Man's Shoal, was known for its warm and unbearable climate.

It was always hot and humid all year round and it would rain almost three times a week.

The town on Dead Man's Shoal was named Dead Shores, known for its many criminal activities, murders, great rum, and bitter fish.

Dead Man's Shoal was not the ideal place for any outsider, except for one.

Sitting by the bar in Skull's Bar, the only bar in all of Dead Shores, was a muscular man, a fisherman.

His name was Jason Shackleton Rome, a 41-year-old man who was skilled in fishing and was incredibly strong.

Jason Rome, although not famous, was somewhat well known for catching three blue marlins with his bare hands when he was only a teenager.

At a young age, Jason fished with his father, Ernest Shackleton Rome, who caught many fish including marlin, sharks, and even an entire whale once.

Jason's background, his early life, was somewhat average, yet still interesting.

Ever since birth, Jason was naturally strong, being able to lift up things heavier than him with ease.

When he was a toddler, he lifted two tables on his back, and when he was a pre teen, he lifted a boulder and hurled it into the ocean.

His relationship with his parents was bitter during his childhood, his mother being a drunk who attempted to abuse him, but failed by being protected from his father and the fact that he was leagues stronger than her.

Jason's father, Ernest, was no perfect man, but he cared about his son and would take him fishing.

Jason himself did not like the sport, but was good at it, all thanks to his father's teachings.

As he got older, he would later convince his father to leave his mother by the time he became a young adult, Ernest now living a better life, doing what he loves by fishing.

His mother would then die some time in his young adult life by getting too drunk at Skull's Bar and falling off the docks nearby and into the water, drowning to death.

This had little to no effect on Jason as he did not care for his mother anyway, due to her drunk habits and attempts to abuse Jason when he was younger, he simply did not care about her death.

Going on his own, Jason worked as a sailor for several captains, being paid good amounts of money due to his great strength and motivation to get his work done.

Many asked how he got his strength, some knew and so did Jason.

Jason's strength was not a result of any magic or supernatural powers.
It was simply the result of his genetics and upbringing.
His father, Ernest, and his family line was of Strongman, a race of humans from the beginning of time that possessed remarkable strength and had been passed on from generation to generation, all the way to his son.
However, since the Strongman are a race, most of the Rome bloodline were regular humans and only a few would possess the genetics of the Strongman, Jason being one of the lucky few.

Moreover, Jason was also incredibly strong because of working with his father as a fisherman from a very young age.

This early exposure to hard physical labor had helped him build up his muscles and develop his strength over time.

However, it was not just his Strongman genetics that made Jason strong, for he had also worked hard to maintain his physique.

Thanks to the teachings of his father, he had always been a disciplined individual, taking great care of his body.

Although Jason hardly drinks, he mostly smokes cigars, which was one of the few things in the world that made him feel confident in himself and prepared for anything coming his way.

There was something else that Jason had: a goal.

Throughout the world, there are many people who were descendants of the Strongman and other human races that possessed great abilities and wanted to be the best in the world with them.

Being of Strongman genetics, Jason Rome wanted to be the strongest man in the world and would do anything to achieve it.

But he was not the only one, for the fisherman also had a little brother, 21-year-old Tom Rosenbauer Rome.

Like Jason, he was one of the lucky few in the Rome bloodline to obtain the Strongman genetics and, like Jason, worked hard to maintain his physique and gain more strength.

He too worked as a fisherman and sailor at a young age, as well as being disciplined and taking care of his body.

Like Jason, with his Strongman genetics, he wanted to become the strongest man in the world, having the same goal as his brother.

However, the way the two were different was that Jason was more serious and cold about what he does, while Tom, while serious, was also arrogant and cocky, underestimating what he does almost all the time.

Jason did not want his brother to steal his goal, nor did Tom want Jason to steal his, meaning that they both had to fight for it along the way to achieve it.

They even fought each other at times, Jason beating his little brother most of the time, Tom beating him sometimes.

Although their sibling rivalry for the same goal was severe, they still loved and cared for each other as true brothers, always having each other's backs, a promise they made to one another when they were younger.

They respected one another, helped one another, and even had fun times together when times weren't tough.

Still, even as siblings, they would fight for the same goal, and only one of them would achieve it.

Jason Rome believed he would reach that goal before his brother could, but would not mind it if his brother reached it before he did.

He would be proud of his brother if he did, since Jason also had other goals to become the best sailor and boat captain in the world and many others.

One of his great goals was catching a Gold Marlin, a species of marlin that were rare to find and were nearly extinct for being caught by sailors who poached them only for their golden scales and selling them for great money.

These Gold Marlins could only be found in the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean, which was where Jason Rome resided, in Dead Man's Shoal.

Jason Rome had his goals set out and will do anything to achieve them, but little did he know that, in the near and distant future, he would have many challenges and foes to face along the way.
