The next day, Jason Rome went to one of the beaches of Dead Man's Shoal with his father, Ernest Rome, fishing off the shore.
As they fished, Ernest told Jason about a few wealthy foreign captains he would eventually fish with and about potentially becoming a captain himself.
"It's my goal, son." His father said.
Jason smiled just a little, saying. "And I will root for you to achieve it. I know you can do it, father. You will be a captain."
His father smiled. "Thank you, son. What about you? What are your goals?"
Jason didn not say anything, for he did not want to answer at first.
Ernest saw this, saying, "It's okay, son, you don't have to tell me what it is. I'll root for you anyway, I know you'll achieve that goal."
Jason sighed and responded, "I have many goals, dad, but one of the main ones, maybe even the main one out of all the others, is to become the strongest man in the world."
"The strongest man in the world? How will you pull that off? There are many people after that goal, it won't be easy to achieve."
"I know, but I think I can do it, I know I can. I just have to show the world that I'm the strongest, and the Strongman blood in me will aid me along the way." Jason said.
His father replied, "Well, if you can do it, do it. I know you can make it. It's a tough goal, but I know damn well you can do it, son. I'm proud of you."
"Thanks, dad."
The two fished for a little longer until they both set off to do their separate activities.
Jason, as a sailor, fished with one of the captains he worked with and all day they caught massive amounts of fish with the crew, all thanks to Jason.
The day would soon become knight and the crew would return with enough fish to feed the entire town for a year, his captain wanting to sell the fish to wealthy foreigners.
Jason got a good amount of payment for his duties and went back home to rest, his home being a small beach house not too far from Dead Shores.
There, he cooked himself some fish in a boiling pot over a fire, cut up some local tropical fruits, poured himself some freshwater he obtained from the rain, and had himself his own dinner.
After this, he went to bed and slept for the night, for great opportunities awaited him in the near future.
