A few days had passed, Jason had worked for his captains, catching fish, making good amounts of pay.
While he did this, though, he somewhat looked for a challenge, anything or anyone that could make him achieve his goal by being the strongest man in the world, but there was no luck.
Nothing on the island of Dead Man's Shoal could give him a challenge to further achieve his goal.
There was nothing either, no building, item, or anything that he could move, lift, or even destroy that could give him a few extra steps to become the strongest man in the world.
With that being said, there was nothing and nobody that could help the fisherman make it there.
Jason Rome then came to the conclusion that his quest and challenge would have to take place outside of the island, out in the ocean, to other lands and countries.
With that in mind, the fisherman rented a small boat that he would use for a year, promising to return it within 365 days and paying the total amount by that time to the owner.
Jason planned to leave tomorrow morning at sunrise and had already packed the belongings he needed for his quest to wherever he would go to take the steps in achieving his goal to become the strongest man in the world.
The day went by and Jason ate his dinner and went to bed.
Little did he know that something major would happen to the town of Dead Shores and to the entirety of the island of Dead Man's Shoal tomorrow.
When morning of the next day came, Jason Rome prepared himself for work, getting ready.
However, after doing this, he suddenly heard the sounds of explosions, something he hadn't heard before.
They were coming from the Dead Shores town, so he immediately rushed over there to see what was going on.
About halfway there, though, he could already see the cause.
A large black and brown ship with many black sails and flags that had orange logos of a scorpion on each one.
The fisherman knew what these ships were, what they were run by, and what they consisted of: pirates.
Jason knew of pirates when told stories about them by his father when he was little, knowing they existed, but he did not know that pirates would come here to Dead Man's Shoal.
He did not know who these pirates were, but saw that they were firing cannons and sending out their criminal men into town, destroying it, robbing it, and killing the residents there.
The fisherman had to do something about this and stop the pirates, despite the fact the town was terrible.
It was still his home and he had to save it.
Jason rushed to town and was now in the middle of it all, cannons fired into buildings, destroying them.
Citizens ran around and fled in fear, some of the policemen of Dead Shores even fought back by firing their muskets and a few cannons, but even those weren't enough to take down these pirates.
Finding the closest policeman, Jason asked, "Who are these pirates? Why are they attacking Dead Man's Shoal?"
The policeman answered, "Are you serious? You've never heard of these pirates?"
Jason shook his head and the policeman said, "These are the Scorpio Pirates. They are one of the most feared and ruthless pirate groups in the Caribbean. They attack towns, cities, and ships without mercy, taking everything they can and leaving destruction in their wake.""So they chose this island and this town as another one of their targets to destroy?" Jason said, and then scoffed. "They made a terrible decision."
After this, Jason went ahead, running through the projectiles and attacks that were sent his way.
