Here, this part of our story starts in the Pacific Ocean, in a country called Japan.
There, in Japan, was a small village named Hikarimachi, known for its natural beauty and scenery.
There in the village was a man, holding onto his katana with his eyes closed, facing five bamboos.
He let out a long exhale and, after opening his eyes quickly, sliced all the bamboos in half with one swift swing.
This man was a former samurai who was once known as Zangeki, but his real name was Yama Chairo, 21 years old.
Yama Chairo was born into a family of samurai, and from a young age, was trained in the art of swordsmanship.
His father was a skilled samurai who trained him constantly, instilling in him the principles of discipline, honor, and respect.
Yama excelled in his training, mastering various sword fighting techniques and becoming a skilled warrior.
However, tragedy struck when his family was attacked by a ruthless clan, known as the Oni no Hana, and his father was killed in battle against them, along with the rest of his family.
Yama, only a teenager at the time, was filled with grief and anger, and he sought revenge.
He trained harder than ever before, determined to become the strongest samurai and avenge his father's death.
Yama then became known as Zangeki, a fearsome warrior who struck fear into the hearts of his enemies, as he was hired by various lords and clans to protect them and fight their battles, becoming a legend in the samurai world.
However, there was something else about Yama that only his father and the people of the Hikarimachi village know about him.
Like Jason Rome being a descendant of the Strongman race, Yama was a descendant of the Fastman race.
The Fastman were a race of humans that existed from the beginning of time that possessed remarkable speed, their genetics being passed on from generation to generation, all the way to their descendants, Yama being one of the lucky few in his family to have the Fastman genes. But since the Fastman were a race, like the Strongman, most of Yama's family bloodline of the Chairo's were regular humans and only a few would possess the genetics of the Fastman.
With Yama having the genetics of the Fastman, he was a force to be reckoned with in both speed and the deadly way of swordsmanship.
He had his goal: to kill the Oni no Hana clan and avenge his father's death.
Zangeki would not allow them to get away with it, and he would make sure of it.
