Jason Rome smoked his cigar as he drank his small shot glass of rum, his third and last one.
The bartender took his empty glass and asked, "Ready for another, J?"
"No. All good." Jason replied as he took another puff of his cigar.
"Alright, well, the price is only 8 bucks for you, friend."
"You don't have to give me cheap prices."
The bartender chuckled and said, "Oh come on, Jason, you've caught me many fish with your strength, and enough to feed my family for months, so you deserve these cheap prices."
Jason grunted a little and paid the 8 dollars, saying "Take care, buddy." before he left Skull's Bar.
The fisherman walked around the town of Dead Shores, passing by normal residents, criminals, prostitutes, sellers, and many other odd and wrong people.
It was all normal to him as he grew up here, but at least he had some more decency than the other majority ne'er do wells.
As Jason walked around town, he noticed a few men dragging a woman through an alley with a bag over her head.
By the looks of it, it seemed like a kidnapping was taking place.
Jason secretly followed the men and the woman quietly.
After a little while, he finally made it to where the men stopped with the woman at a large and open area that consisted of many other men.
He quietly watched, one of the men snatching the bag off her head to reveal a plain looking lady, a prostitute without a doubt.
One of the men chuckled and said, "Now we can play with you without other people looking, although with the way Dead Shores is, nobody would care if we raped you out in the open.
The prostitute shook in fear, shaking her head, saying, "Please, no no, don't do this. I-I thought it was just gonna be you and m-me! No! I-I'm sorry I took your money-"
"Too late for apologies, miss! Yeah this town's full of scumbags like you and me, but that doesn't mean we're all friends, and that doesn't mean I'm letting you walk away with the money I gave you for sex!"
"No, please, I'll give you sex, you and me, I'll give you my sugar! J-Just-"
"Alright, boys. Which one of you want to go first?"
Any normal person would have walked away from this situation without any care in the world.
However, in Jason's case, although the lady was a prostitute, he couldn't let her get raped by that many men around her.
With a grunt, Jason stepped forward out of hiding, being spotted by all the men and the woman there.
One of the men spoke up, saying, "Who the hell are you? You want in on this?"
Jason stood there, saying nothing, as he was a man of a few words.
"You gonna answer? Are you gonna fuck this bitch too or not?" Another of the men asked.
Jason scoffed and said, "No. Leave the lady alone."
The men around him laughed, one of them saying, "What're you trying to be, a good Samaritan?"
Jason was silent, another of the men said, "You know, this whore here tried to steal my money and run off with it without giving me some pleasure, so she's gonna get pounded by all the men here. You think we'll let you stop us? You, one man, against 500 of us?"
Jason raised his fist up, clenching it tightly.
"Your talk is revolting. You disgust me."
After saying this, the man commanded a few of his men to attack Jason, all of them charging at him with weapons like knives and blunt instruments.
They attacked and Jason avoided them.
The men tried to hit him many times, but Jason either parried, blocked, or dodged their moves.
Eventually it had become his turn to deliver his own set of blows.
With a few strong punches, Jason easily defeated the men without much effort.
Shocking the others, more of the men were hesitant on fighting the fisherman, but they had to avenge their fallen comrades, so they attacked.
More men attacked Jason, who in return attacked as well, defeating the amount of men that came at him easily.
The more men that fought Jason, the more men Jason defeated.
Eventually, 20 men were defeated, and then 50, and then 70, and then 80, and then 100.
More and more men came, more and more men fought, and more and more men were defeated.
Jason moved around as he avoided, blocked, and parried the attacks from his large group of enemies.
The fisherman continued to fight them, eventually beating 200 men.
More men attacked with weapons, those men defeated by Jason.
The number of men defeated grew higher by the minute, as now 380 of them were defeated, now 400, and now 480.
It shocked them all to see that one man was taking out their entire squad, underestimating Jason at first sight.
Soon enough, Jason defeated the last of them and all 500 men were defeated.
Jason then went over to the prostitute, who said, "Th-Thank you for saving m-"
The fisherman cut her off by saying, "Quit."
"What? Quit what?"
"Quit being a prostitute. There are other ways to make money."
"Like what?"
Jason said nothing, but the look in his eyes made the lady understand that he was serious about what he said.
She quickly left, now on the lookout for a real job.
Jason smoked his cigar and looked at the unconscious bodies of the men he had easily defeated.
He made a quick and reasonable assumption that all 500 of these men were a band of foreign pirates, since most of them did not look like they belonged here.
Thankfully, though Dead Shores was full of criminals, there were some policemen and a police department in town that put away anyone for wrongdoing, trying to uphold the law.
With that in mind, Jason left the scene and headed home, smoking his cigar.
