Hours had passed and Jason Rome drank himself a cup of rum as he watched the sun begin to set.

His entire torso and every other part of his body that was cut up was covered in bandages.

Viktor Aberg walked up to the fisherman with a banana and ate it.

The swordsman said, "You did good back there, sir, I'm impressed."

Jason was silent, listening to Viktor while watching the sunset too.

"You stopped a good number of those pirates by yourself, more than me." Viktor said. "You risked your life for those people, and they should be glad that you went out of your way to save them and the town."

Jason smiled a little and responded, "Thank you for your words of kindness, but these people here would hardly give a damn about who or what saved them. At least I'll feel good about doing the right thing."

"Yeah. Hey, how do you have those abilities, by the way? Is it something magical, runs in the family?"

"It runs in the family, since I'm a descendant of one of the Strongman race and I was lucky enough to be one of the few in my family to obtain their strength genetically."

"A descendant of the Strongman race? That's amazing! Never thought I'd meet one of their descendants in the flesh."

Jason chuckled a little and replied, "Well, now you have. Thanks for treating me, by the way, I didn't really need to be all bandaged up, I would've been fine."

"No, no, you needed those bandages. I couldn't let you go home bleeding and die of blood loss." Viktor said.

"That is true. This won't stop me from achieving my goal of becoming the strongest man in the world."

"You want to become the strongest man in the world? How come?"

"I want to be good at something, and being the strongest man in the world is something I know I want to be good at. I will do anything to achieve that goal, my goal."

Viktor nodded and said, "I see, and that goal is something very challenging and difficult to get there on your own. You may need help along the way to achieve it, so..."

"Are you saying you want to accompany me on my quest to become the strongest man in the world? You want to help me reach my goal?" Jason asked.

"Well, it doesn't hurt to help people make their dreams come true. Plus, this goal will require a good amount of help, so helping you along the way is the best thing for me to do and for you to decide if you want to become the strongest man in the world."

"You're willing to help me, eh? Well, this is my quest, my goal, but with the help of others will give me extra steps and get closer to making it... Alright, buddy, you're in. Welcome aboard."

"Great, glad I could help. The name's Viktor Aberg by the way, sir."

"I'm Jason S. Rome, Viktor." The fisherman said, "Our quest begins tomorrow morning, for we'll set sail and go across the ocean to do whatever we can to have me achieve my goal."

"Alright, I'll see you then. Can you make it home, or do you need me to help you get there?" Viktor asked.

"No, Viktor, I'm fine, I can make it. Say, let me ask you, do you have a goal?"

"No, not really, except living a peaceful life here, which I sort of achieved. I don't have anything in your way along your quest."

"Alright. Pack whatever you need, be ready tomorrow, see you then."

Jason went home and prepared his belongings, Viktor preparing the belongings and food he needed to bring for them on their quest.

Night had come and before Jason went to sleep, he wrote a letter to his father, Ernest S. Rome, explaining that he will be gone for a while on an important trip and that he'll miss him.

Going over to his father's, he placed the letter in his kitchen, his father asleep, and even placed a fresh mango on the letter.

After this, Jason went home and went to sleep, so did Viktor.

The next day came by and both the fisherman and swordsman went to the docks of the town and got on the sailboat Jason rented.

There, the two bid farewell to the people they knew and left, ready for their quest, Jason Rome's quest to become the strongest man in the world.
