Jane and Thomas start talking more and are soon very good friends.

Thomas tells her that he was new in town, he and his father moved in New York so that he could study better. Jane tells him her side of the story that she didn't know if her parents exists, that the present was happier for her rather than the dark mysterious past where she suffered the loss of her foster parents as well as birth parents.

Jane and Jed went to the army registration officer; they both had decided to join the army.

Jane would be joining as a medical intern for the injured soldiers temporarily for 2 years for the experience and then it would be in her hands to decide whether she wants to continue in the field as an army combat medic or not.

Jed would study the profession of a pilot and join the army as a Jet pilot; he would too be give a chance for experience and training and then it would be upon him to either continue serving the army or quit.

A half year passed by with tough scheduled, it was normal until one day during recess something strange happened:

Jane was not well; she remained in her class as the bell ran for a lunch break.

She sat on her seat with her head down on the desk. She could feel her heartbeat racing and felt shortness of breath, she had a headache which was killing her, and she felt dizzy.

It wasn't a very best time when Sasha a friend of Ellie barged in.

you kissed Enrique, Jane?

yes but that... that was ages ago what the hell just got in to you?

you have been screwing Enrique

what the ... who told you that?

Ellie is heartbroken and wouldn't stop crying.

listen to me Sasha, whatever it is I am sure it can wait. All you are telling
me is not more than just a rumor. I am not feeling very okay. Just leave me alone would you?

no, it can't wait; you have to explain yourself.

Jane severe headache and dizziness added with Sasha's nonsense was unbearable for Jane.

She got angry and got up trying to leave the room.

where do you think you are going?

I said leave me alone.

Sasha keeps on blipping words, and suddenly Jane's vision goes blur.

Jane got pissed off and something strange happen. Jane could feel some kind of energy surging within her. Something gathered around her feet as she stood straight pressing her forehead with her both hands, the thing was red and slowly moved up to her waist, BOOM! And it exploded, Sasha was thrown toward the wall and Jane fell where she stood.

The immense explosion kind of thing knocked down the door, boys and girls in the hall way gathered outside the class;

Jed hurried in and saw Sasha holding her head and Jane lying down on the floor unconscious, Sasha was okay he moved over to Jane. He checked her pulse on her neck with his two index fingers; he got worried he couldn't feel any.

Then he listened to her heart getting his ear close to her chest.

no heartbeat, someone call 911!

She was rushed to the hospital, Jane had no heartbeat, her heart stopped and the monitor showed a flat line, Jed pumped her heart with his palms.

She was rushed to the ER and paddles were charged to 200, on her chest, no response. Again, charged to 300 no response, charged to 360 and as pressed on her chest the lights in the ER fluctuated, not only that but the lights on the whole floor fluctuated like the electricity was interrupted by some kind of energy.

Jane heart started, but strange glowing red thing ran through her veins again. Once again her heart raced and again the blast happened. Every doctor surrounding her was thrown back and the glass of the room shattered. The lights were out.

Jane started screaming in pain, Jed was in the hall waiting, and he ran toward the ER and saw every doctor lying unconscious.

oh my god!

He got close to her, and saw something red, like a light travelling within her veins. It was obviously not blood. Jed got on top of Jane, he held her hands.

Jane wake up, wake up, hey I am here, I am here with you, calm down!

Jane opened her eyes, something like a force was trying to throw Jed away, and he could feel its strength. Jed slipped his hand behind her neck and brought her to his chest; he pressed her hard and tried to console her.

It's okay, everything is going to be okay, I am here with you no matter what, I will be always there with you.

Jane feels better; she gathers strength and put her hands behind his back.

what is wrong with me Jed?

Jed and Jane are taken to the precinct for interrogation, they tell them exactly what happened but the fact was that they themselves didn't know what was going on.

The cops believes that it was an action of a terrorist, they believed that it was bombed with the infusion of fainting medicine.

The only question which rose was that where was the significance of a bomb?

The case was dismissed due to the lack of evidence.
