Jane and her roommate are woken up by an loud siren which was quite unusual.

She quickly changes, wears her boots and jacket and heads outside to see what was going on.

Outside is panic. She sees a general, the same one that interviewed her ;arguing on the phone.

General on the phone: sir, no offense but this is an army unit which is training the youngsters for the field, all the personals I have are either in training or had set foot in a real field once or twice maybe, they are level one interns. You cannot expect me to send them in a real war.

From the other side of the phone: ......

General on the phone: I will see what I can do.

He turns off his phone in frustration.

Jane gathers courage, takes a deep breath and walks towards the general.

sir, if I may ask what is going on?

there is been a breach in the system. Unidentified personals have attacked our base; we need to send aid and arms.

He dashes off and Jane searches for Jed. She bumps into Lynton.

Jane, I was coming to get you. Are you aware of the situation?

Yes. What now?

they are gathering everyone on the helipads, come with me.

Jane and Lynton goes to the helipad, there are jets and helicopter aligned.

All level interns and soldiers are stood in rows. The general is holding a speaker.

align up soldiers! our men are injured, we need air and land force immediately. I will be sending 10 choppers each with a medic, a pilot, a co pilot, and three men with ammo. I will be departing jets and tanks, get ready people!!!

The process is quick, the helicopters and jet fly off one by one.

Jane stands with the other medical interns; They are not being sent, Dr Hardely and other head doctors are sent.

Few helicopters are still left, and each one lacks a pilot and a medic. Jane and Lynton volunteer.

They are on the same chopper.

Jane: (Standing next to Lynton in front of their helicopter ready to be departed) have you seen Jed?

He flew out in a Jet.

General: Follow the orders, good luck (As he looks at the choppers with interns aboard)

And leaves with another team.

Jane's helicopter is last to take off.
They are teamed up with Barry, David and Adam. They don't have a co pilot.

This one is send to different route; not to the base, it is being sent to another army unit in order inform them of the situation and demand their assistance as all communications were cut off.

The air route to the other compound is dangerous, riskier as it passes the mountainous regions.

Jane and the other guys strap themselves to seats of the helicopter.

Each of ammo guy has a shot gun, 45. handgun and a pistol.

Lynton puts on a head set which connects him to the base; for orders and updates of their location so they would stay in the grid.

The co pilot seat beside him is empty.

Lynton: (To all) ready?

All of them nod.

The helicopter lifts in the sky and heads to its direction.

An hour had passed, they are above the mountains.

The head set haves a static.

Lynton: signal is down; we have lost contact with the base.

They hear something, something like a gunshot.

Jane: what was that?

David: sounds like a gunshot.

Adam: this doesn't seems right

Suddenly fire is opened on them.

The helicopter's metal vibrate as the hail of billet hits it.

Lynton: we are under attack!

Barry: get your heads down!

He and Adam unstrap themselves.

They peek out of the door of the helicopter, and blindly shoot at the mountains hoping that would counter the attack.

The shots echoes in the wide range of mountains.

Jane puts her head down on her knees and cover her ears.

The same unidentified personals had attacked them, their faces were covered.

Lynton tries to swing his helicopter in order to escape the bullets, which seemed impossible due to the dense wind.

The helicopter dangles in the air.

Jane courageously unstraps herself, gains balance and sits on the empty seat next to Lynton.

He looks at her all worried, she looks at him, and she grabs his hand tight.

David gets hit on his shoulder; he starts bleeding.

Jane applies pressure on his wound.

He screams in pain.

Jane: hang on.

Suddenly Adam shouts

grenade!

BOOM! , A direct hit on the blades. Helicopter spins immensely in the sky and falls toward a cliff.

we are hit, blades are gone, brace yourselves we are going down. Mayday, mayday we are going down! Can anybody copy me, mayday, mayday, mayday, we have been hit!! (On the mic of the Head set)

The chopper crashes in the cliff and is tossed away on the ground.

Jane opens her eyes, almost blood red, filled with tears; she looks at this sky slowly turning dark. Everything is blur, she have been unconscious for a while. Her forehead is slightly wounded, a drop of blood drips from it.

She looks around her in panic. She could see the chopper torn into pieces about a mile from her.

She gets up.

She sense some movement; she gets over there, when all of the sudden Adam points a gun at her with one of his arm bleeding.

it's you.

...Where are others?

you were thrown out of the chopper when we nearly touched the ground, so was I. others weren't that lucky. David and Smith are dead.

Jane: oh my god! (As she puts her hands on her mouth) .... Where is Lynton?

Adam: ....

tell me!

Adam: under there (Pointing at the wrecked helicopter) he is stuck.

Then let's try and get him out of there, what are you waiting for.

I tried, Jane... it's not good .... he is not good,

come on help me,

Jane lies down on her stomach to see him as he is stuck under the squeezed chopper.

Lynton, can you hear me?

Jane?

it's me. Okay, okay, okay, we are going to get you out.

She looks at Adam.

They lifts piece of the ripped helicopter, and Adam finally pulls away the heaviest part with all the strength he has.

Lynton lies in the worst condition under it.....
