Mistakes

The day after prom was graduation ceremony. Jed and Stephen graduated

Jed studied two years at a world class university on scholarship joined the army which he registered for. Stephen invested his inheritance on a large scale company and started a job with satisfactory pay.

Jane completed her two years in the high school, she skipped prom each time, lets not forget the disaster she had to face at her last experience.

She studied for two years in the medical school. It was time she joins the army as a medic intern.

She never saw Thomas again, not since the prom.

She hasn't seen Jed in four years. Jane is 20 now, more charming than ever.

A helicopter takes her and 9 other interns to the army compound.

They are accompanied by two soldiers to a office, a tent but distinct from others, more heavily guarded, more lightened.

Jane's heart raced at a great extent.

They entered an office where sat a major with a super serious face.

He stands up and both the soldiers tap their foot on the ground and salute.

All of the interns, nervous as hell, not sure what to do stands still. Each of them are briefly interviewed.

Jane: Sir I am Jane...

Sir: I know very well who you are, Jane Foster. I have heard a lot about you. You have a very impressive report. I am looking forward to see you cope with our environment.

sure sir, thank you very much sir.

My men will take you to your compound.

thank you sir.

Jane came out of the office and entered this huge open ground with strict discipline. Soldiers marching, exercising on the yell of orders.

Jets and tanks lined up. Small compounds tent like things lined up for residence.

Jane walks briskly behind the man trying to keep at his pace. She clenches her bag hard. Suddenly she sees Jed pass by.

oh my god, Jed?

Jane!

Jane laughs,

wow! looks like we are in the same unit.

that's pretty sweet.

go ahead now, meet me in dinning compound at 2:00, its 9 compounds left from here.

will do, thank you,bye.

Jane's nervousness snaps away; she would be so much comfortable having Jed around her.

Jane enters a compound; almost like a campaigning tent, small with a two single mattresses on the floor , each with a folded white sheet, two pillows and a uniform.

the uniform was a traditional army service suit; printed trouser and jacket, long boots and a navy green t-shirt.

The compound had a small attached bathroom and a small mirror in the room. It was alright. One compound for two interns.

The soldier leaves and Jane shuts the door behind her. She puts her hand bag on the mattress and get into that army dress, her locket still hangs on her neck.
