All Over Again

FEW DAYS LATER

Jed's and all three's friends and classmates comes in uninvited to throw Jed's so called homecoming party. they bring in snacks and drinks.

Thomas's bandages are smaller enough to be hidden under his shirt. He is introduced to all their friends; well to those who didn't knew him.

Some pretty good music is arranged.

Jane dances with Thomas, he rolls her around and does the swing dance.

... I still wonder about the prom, it could have been perfect for you, for me. I am sorry

Thomas, enough of the apologies and regrets, it wasn't your fault okay? Let's put it past us.

Thomas leans down and touches her face pulling her for a long slow kiss. Jane kisses back.

Jed looks at Thomas and Jane while standing leaning against the corner of a table dressed in his dark brown jeans and navy green t shirt, sipping beer.

Beside him is a blonde girl flirting with him but Jed barely notices her, smiling at her briefly so that she won't feel bad.

He takes another bottle of beer apologizes the girl and goes to the ground.

Jane: I will be right back

She goes after him

Thomas and Jane sleep together.

Way past midnight Thomas suddenly wakes up sweating, white comforts slips down to his waist showing off his muscular pale body. Jane is startled she wakes up and while lying down asks him

Hey are you okay?

yeah, sorry just a bad dream.

He lies back down; Jane pulls her bare arm from under the bed cover and puts it around his arm while she back to sleep.

Thomas rubs his hands against his hairs. And whispers slowly

Tell me what to do so that I can be with you Jane.

And a tear drops from his left eye sinking in the pillow beneath his head.

Late at night he gets up, and he writes a note.

He, before leaving through the window turns back to catch her glimpse.

He stops, return, gets on his knees beside the bedside where Jane was sleeping, he kisses her on her hand,

I am so sorry Jane, please do forgive me, I love you.

He leans forward and kisses her on her lips. He then leaves.

In the morning Jane sits up on her bed and finds a note under his pillow.

"I am so sorry for leaving you again Jane; for doing it all over again. I never stopped seeking justice for my mother and I don't want you in the crosshairs of what I do. Same people injured me half to death not a burglary. I want to be with you, I do; but I can't I am sorry. I love you and I will never stop loving you but I have to go."

She folds the note and puts it aside and tears drip from her eyes.

why Thomas, why!? I loved you, I loved you, I started falling for you again and you left me again, (She sobs pulling her hair back)

She gets out of her room after a while, her eyes swollen of crying, and her mascara from last night smeared on her face.
