The cops leave his room. They were still in the hospital, keen to get answers from Jed but Jed was determined to throw the cops off the trail.
Stephen enters Jed's room but instead sees his hospital gown lying on the bed and his cloth and shoes missing.

all nearby search units on the Mercy West Hospital, keep eyes open for a white male, 6'1, blonde, bandaged.
Meanwhile Jed slips through the security unnoticed. He goes by a pay phone and dials a number.

Jed gets a text after few minutes; he follows the address to an apartment.
Thomas opens the front door, Jed barges in, and grabbing his collar.
