They say a ghost roams around these parts.

They say they see a flicker of white fur glitter under the sun as it passes from shadow to shadow. Its eyes are like two full blood-moons.

They say it disappears once touched by shadow, but it still watches them from whatever realm it diappeared to.

They say it looks like a rabbit, and so this elusive creature was dubbed The Ghost Rabbit, or Ghost for short. The way people talk about it, it's almost like Ghost is an community-adored pet. And it might as well be. Some people are fascinated by its sudden appearance, leaving out food and treats in hopes of catching it on camera.

Ghost doesn't appear in pictures. Or video. The other party who believed Ghost was a regular rabbit was mostly silenced after multiple instances of magically disappearing food. And so, Ghost became shrouded in more mystery.

Some believe it's a messenger. Others think it's a child's spirit. And still others think Ghost is as it appears-- a rabbit's ghost. More journalists flock to this once-quiet suburb to uncover the truth, and more just to potentially catch a glimpse of The Ghost Rabbit.

Out of all the theories floating around on the Internet, there is one that caught my attention. It's not as mystical as everything else out there, rather, it's the background that intrigued me.
