Digital life is fake. I've never understood the appeal of having some life play out inside your head while your real life fades away. You'll have your dream looks, life, job, love, or whatever VR life promises these days, but isn't that the beauty of real life? That you work to get what you want? And that sometimes, you figure our what you want isn't what you need or can have, but learning you're happier that way? Isn't that what gives life satisfaction?

One of my friends recently recovered from a VR addiction of sorts. I cry whenever I think about her in that small, dark apartment, surrounded by empty cans and packets.

Someone got concerned this was a real story and I had to tell them it's not 😭😭

But yeah 👍 Dystopia type kinda prompt.
