Writing Prompt 25

"Oh, hey, what's this?"

"Hm?" Tiana looks over, gasps, and huries to where Otto stands. He looks on curioudly as she gingerly turns the pendant over in her hands.

"You, uh...know what this is?"

Tiana glances at Otto, as if she just remembered he was there.

"Yeah..! It's mine..." She gazes back down-- the pendant's dirtier than she remembers, but the star pattern and her initials engraved on the back makes ut unmistakably hers. "Though I lost it in the portal...guess that's how it ended up here."

"Well, I'm glad you got it back," Otto smiles. But Tiana suddenly doesn't look so happy.

"...do you think we'll ever get home?"

Otto, noticing Tiana's mood shift,  changes his demeanor, too.

Prompt was to write about a character finding something they thought they lost

You go through portals so many times, you lose something eventually, right? So yeah, just an experimental scenario here.

Also, that's it! I've uploaded all the writing prompts we did. So from here on, this'll just function as an OC book? Time will tell. I've got one more piece cooking, so watch for that.
