Secrets in the Woods- Beomkai

Safety lesson

As Kai gets up to leave, the feeling of guilt consumes him. Beomgyu has been forced to stay in the house for who knows how long and Kai thinks he deserves to leave for a night. "Wait right here. Go through my clothes and put something warm on. Im taking you out."

Beomgyu shakes his head violently no. Kai kneels in front of him and strokes his cheek. Soft, Kai thinks. "Beomgyu... if you dont want to its okay. Youre safe with me though. I just wanted to take my boyfriend out for a night."

"...boyfriend?" Beomgyu whispers. His eyes beam at the thought of Kai being his boyfriend.

"Oh, Im sorry! Beomgyu will you be my boyfriend?"

"Yes!" Beomgyu squeals. Kai was taken back for a second. That was the first time since finding him where he spoke above a whisper. He jumped into his boyfriend's arms and told him to change again. Kai was going to find a way to sneak him out.

He walked out of his bedroom and started to have second thoughts. 1. Beomgyu cant walk so he would have to be carried out. And 2. Maybe Soobin wouldve been the better driving companion.

Kai started to regret not letting Soobin find him in the hide and seek game earlier. Talking to him alone was the whole reason he suggested it. Soobin has to come to you, let him talk to you, but what if he doesnt talk to me? Kais thoughts were bringing his mood down. Tomorrow he was going to plant more seeds in Soobin's head. One way or another, Kai was going to get answers from him.

Downstairs he sees Yeonjun prepping the ducks and Taehyun helping Soobin start the fire in the back. He needs them either all distracted outside so Beomgyu can be carried through the front or for them to be all inside so Kai could use the stairs attached to his balcony.

After a moment of pondering he finally has it. He walks over to the hidden gun safe and grabs three shot guns (not his custom one of course) and walks out to hand them to Soobin. "Itll probably be really late before I get back. Want to take them hunting? Taehyun enjoyed it last time and if hes going then his boyfriend will."

Soobin looks to his side. Taehyun gives him the thumbs up and lets Yeonjun know what theyre doing. Kai tells Soobin to strictly go over gun safety with them before they head off and Kai personally warns them that theyre not invited to the cabin again if they fail it. He pulls out several empty magazines and couple of cartridges of bird shot and hands them off to Soobin.

"Okay so before I leave, Im getting at least 3 days worth of fireworks. Anything else?"
The trio shake their head no and the group splits. Kai watches them leave into the woods and runs upstairs to grab Beomgyu.

Kai opens the door to see Beomgyu wearing his white prada headband, black italian leather combat boots and his over sized black prada sweater with the white logo in the center. "How do I look?"

Almost perfect Kai thinks. He doesnt respond leaving Beomgyu confused. Kai digs through his closet and finds what he was looking for. A pair of black diamond studs and a pair of white ivory hoops. He steps in front of his boyfriend and carefully puts them on his ears. This turns on Beomgyu a little more than it should. "You look perfect honey"

They depart as quickly as they could out of the house. Kai sets Beomgyu on the hood of the car while he opens the passenger door for him. Beomgyu's never been this cared for in his life. He almost hopes his foot never heals so he could continue being spoiled. He touches his throat. It feels scratchy but he decides he's going to suck it up tonight because Kai deserves to hear how much he loves him.

The car starts with a subtle roar and Beomgyu looks up and notices the two star constellations in the roof. Kai sees the stars dancing in Beomgyu's eyes and started to fall in love with him. He presses a button and the stars now begin to glow.
