Friends, fireworks, fucking?

The last of the remaining coals were put out and starlight began fading to sunlight. Kai packs everything up and assists Beomgyu into the passenger seat. Before they take off they start to form a plan. It wasnt going to be easy breaking the news to everyone.

They determine that Soobin should be told first that Beomgyu is alive. Beomgyu would be in the back seat and reveal himself on the drive to the fireworks store. They would tell him everything and come up with a way to reveal Beomgyu to Taehyun and Yeonjun.

The rest of the trip would be dedicated to helping Soobin get a lesser sentence in prison. They were going to get their stories straight first. When they got back home, the group of 5 would stay at Kai's house until his parents arrived and ask for help. Kai knew they would if he told them everything. Divorce lawyers or not, theyre still the some of the best in the country and it would be insane not to use them if they could.

Lastly, Kai and Beomgyu promised to be with each other through the entire thing no matter what.

After being satisfied with the plan they came up with, Kai started to drive them home. They rehearsed everything they were going to say to Soobin tonight.

Beomgyu asks "Should we tell him how long youve been taking care of me?"

Kai shrugs. "If he asks I guess."

"Theyre all going to be mad when they find out Ive been living with them the whole time. Especially Taehyun. Kai I dont want them to be mad at me."

Kai stares at him in confusion. "Mad at you? If theyre going to be mad at anyone, itll be the person taking care of you and not saying a word to his best friends about it."

Beomgyu looks down into his lap. He hates the thought of his friends being mad at his boyfriend. "Oh my god we're going to need to tell them were dating arent we?"

Kai's eyes go wide. Another thing he didnt think of. He scratches his head and looks to his right. "I mean do you want to?"

Beomgyu squeezes Kai's free hand and kisses his cheek. "Eventually. I dont want it to be a secret. Let's see how they react to everything else first."

Kai's eyes grow wide again. "Oh shit, that reminds me. Taehyun and Yeonjun are dating now."

Beomgyu's jaw drops. "WHAT?! About damn time! How did it start?! Do you know how long Ive been trying to make something happen with them? Too damn long Kai! And they have the nerve to start when Im not around?!" Beomgyu's motor mouth continues on a rant. Kai laughs between all of his sentences. Taehyun always told him Beomgyu never shut up but this was his first time seeing it.

Kai waits until Beomgyu finishes his rant and he says "If everything goes well with Soobin tonight, Ill make sure he shows you the video. Youll have to see it for yourself."

"THERES A VIDEO?!"

"Yeah honey bear theres a video." Kai giggles.

Beomgyu crosses his arms in disbelief. He's happy for the new couple of course but a selfish part of him wanted to be the one to push them together. They were SO going to hear about this later.

They arrive back at the house and Kai puts all of his equipment back first. He then checks to see if anyone is awake and is relieved to find out they arent.

He carries Beomgyu into the house and points to a bedroom upstairs. "If I were you, I wouldnt go near that room. Thats their bedroom and theyve been....really busy in it lately."

"Taehyun? My Taehyun? Sorry Kai you must be mistaken. There's NOOOO way tha-"

Kai shuts up him with a kiss.
