College tour and Changbin

Over the next few weeks, the now group of 4, start to stick together like a giant ball of bubblegum. It was much easier now that Beomgyu's foot was healed.

They packed for college together, helped Yeonjun with driving, gamed, ate, shopped, even pissed and puked together once when they got blackout drunk at Beomgyu's house. A story they would never talk about again.

Kai drove them to Crown and met up with Chan who gave them a personal tour of Crown University. Kai found the statue in cased in glass and smirked at Bang Chan. "Well. This is super well protected. It almost makes you want to blow it up as a challenge." Chan and Kai start laughing while the other three look at them like theyre insane.

Kai's dad took a day off to give them a tour of Yale. He told stories of all the wild things he did there. They walked into Kai's dad's first dorm. He pointed to the corner of a window and said "thats where I set my first set of text books on fire a week into class. I was stressed out beyond belief kids. I got even more stressed when I realized I burned the last copy I had of my father's 'goodluck' letter. Ill give you three one when youre all unpacked. Dont burn it."

They walked to a lawn in front of the dining hall. "This is where I saw Kai's mother for the first time. I knew I was going to marry her the second she walked into my life. I didnt mean to keep staring at her and look like a creep but her beauty was just something else. I couldnt believe it when SHE was the one who asked ME out! I was a lucky son-of-a-bitch. If you know you have 'the one' kids, take care of them for life. Trust me."

Beomgyu smiled. This sounded a little familiar. Kai was the one for him. The day Taehyun introduced him to Kai was the day he was determined to start his forever. Taehyun saw Beomgyu staring at Kai and nudged him with his elbow. Kai pretended not to notice. It made his heart skip a few beats.

Mr. Huening led them into an empty classroom. He pointed to one of the middle rows and told them to sit. He pointed to the chalk board and said "this is the chalk board that almost made me fail sophmore year kids. Everything my professor wrote on here was desgined to screw me over. In short, do NOT take philosophy just to impress some beautiful woman so she would think you were more than just a fucking idiot. It is still a class. And I almost failed."

He looked back at the group and said "well uh... I guess woman wasnt the correct term but you get the idea right?"
They all started laughing and nodding their heads.

They were then led onto the football field. "Look around kids. This is where we tell Harvard to go fuck themselves. Smart socialites go to Yale. The stuck up uglies go to Harvard. The whores go to Stanford. The nobodies go to Brown. Only old people go to Cornell. Only Pennsylvania people go to Pennsylvania. The richest of the rich go to Princeton and the people from other countries go to Dartmouth. You made a good choice kids!"

Yeonjun asks, "you werent the richest of the rich Mr. Huening?"

Kai's dad laughs. "Nope. I don't own a single sweater vest Yeonjun, nor do I tie hankerchiefs around my neck like I have a stick up my ass."

Beomgyu whispers to Kai "your dad is insane."

Kai whispers back "yeah this is what I grew up with. I couldve gone my whole life without knowing my dad is the reason for the 'no skinny dipping' in the pool sign."

His dad hears him and says "hey it wasn't against the rules at the time! Lots of people did it before me!"

"No one told you to do it every day until they put the sign up dad!"

After a few more crazy stories on the unique college tour, Kai's dad treated them to dinner and then drove everyone home.

The next few days went as before. The big bubblegum ball rolled together where ever they went. They wrote Soobin a couple of letters and included photos, always making sure to leave a gap where Soobin would be.
