After resting for a bit I barricaded the house from the inside. Before that I did a sweep to make sure the house was free from any unwanted visitors.
I peeked out the window and held the blade tightly in my hand.
I had time to regain myself. Seeing Pierro that first time had startled me. It caught me off guard but this time I was ready. I knew partially what to expect.
It was the dead of night now and as I feared light began to shine upon the house.
There were at least three cars that pulled up.
The first to step out was Pierro.
He took one glance at the house and I could already tell he disapproved.
His men followed him out of the car and they approached the front door.
There was about 5 of them. All highly trained and deadly I was sure of that. Pierros men were a force to reckon with. Unlike Dottore and Pantalone who treated people as disposable Pierro trained these men personally.
Pierro lightly knocked and I closed the curtain.
"Y/N. I'm giving you two options. Option one, you open this door, get in the car, and we will have no issues. Option two, I break down this door and I drag you back."
My heart thumped and I backed away from the door.
I was ready.
I slipped into the nearby closet and closed the door.
The moment I did there was a loud bang. I could see slightly out. The front door had been kicked open and his men began to head in behind him.
I kept my mouth shut as I watched them move.
"You two check downstairs. You stay by the door. The rest of you come with me."
Pierro headed up the small stairs and disappeared with two of his men. The one stayed stationed at the door while the other two headed down.
I had already set everything up. I didn't need to fight all these men I just needed to get out of the house.
The plan was simple.
I'd blow the house sky high.
If it meant I could get rid of Pierro I would be willing to take the loss.
