Dottores POV

The drive to the daycare was quieter than usual. The kids sat in the back excited for the day but I couldn't seem to feel the same.
My mind was occupied.
"Are we there yetttt!!" Childe whined from the backseat.
I rolled my eyes and sent him a glare from the mirror, "Does it look as if we've arrived?"
Childe sank back into his seat and pouted.
I turned my attention back to the road and the rest of the ride was silent.
When we pulled up in that familiar parking lot the kids got excited. Childe was opening the door and running before I even stopped the car.
"Fuck." I whispered watching him sprint to the doors.
Childe threw them open ran inside and then ran back out.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" He came out screaming and jumped back into the car.
I turned back to look at him and his eyes were huge.
"What is wrong with you?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"There's a lady. I don't know who she is! It's not Y/N!" Childe shouted.
"What?"
I felt my heart sink and I looked out the car door.
The front door was still wide open and someone approached them. A lady who was not Y/N approached the door and looked around outside.
"SEE! SEE!!!" Childe shouted ducking down to hide from her view.
She spotted our car and turned away closing the door behind her.
My eyes narrowed and I opened the car door.
Who was that? Why the hell were they here?
"Let's go find out."
The kids nodded and nervously followed behind me.
I opened the doors and the usual chime went off. When I stepped inside the kids stood hidden behind me. The sane lady from earlier had noticed me and began to approach.
