"First day of school back!" Chana said, pulling my blanket off me. I live with her and her family instead of mine, since my dad has a hard time supporting dae and our little sister

I whined and tried to pull it back on

"Nope, lets go" Chana said and i rolled my eyes and sat up

"I don't want to see him" I bobbed my head and Chana sighed

"So what?" Chana asked, going through my closet

"So what? I slept with my brother's best friend whom he shares a dorm with!" i said standing up and grabbing my outfit from Chana's hands

"Yeah but we have a new girl to show around today so" Chana said and I sighed, sliping my light purple plaid skirt on.

"Nothing new for your hair?" Chana asks

"No, I'm letting it rest, just pure black" I said, grabbing my straightner and plugging it in.

I brushed my hair and started lightly curling my hair.

"What time is it?" I asked

"7:30" Chana said

"crap" i mumbled and started rushing

"What?" Chana asked

"I have to meet dae for tuition," I said and finished getting ready.

I finished getting ready and put on my cream-colored cropped knitted fuzzy button up cardigan top. I filed my nude acrylic nails. I hopped around putting on my white chunky shoes.

"How do i look" I asked and Chana laughed

"Good"

I sighed and grabbed my little white backpack.

"Lets go" we ran out the door.

Dae and I get to the school and chase after the counselor.

"First quarter tuition payments were due two weeks ago" The counselor said in korean

"I know we have almost all of it now, really" Dae said, in korean as we swung into her office

"Both of us do. Please" I begged, in korean. This whole conversation is in korean.

"Dae, Kika we have this conversation every quarter don't we?" she asked.

"I know" I said

"I know your always looking out for us too" Dae said "but you know how things are- if you give us a little more time, i can sort this out"

"You know i want to help, but we have a waitlist this term" She said

"Is there anything we can do? Please" I asked

"I can give you until tonight" she said "if you can't pay by then your enrollment will be canceled. Both of you"

"Thank you" Dae said

"Thank you so much" I said

"You're the best" Dae and I grabbed our things and left.

We started walking out and I grabbed Daes arm. Switching to english

"I have the thousand you got yours?" i asked

"Yes we just need the final two hundred" Dae said and i nodded

"I gotta go, chana needs me"

"Bye yeodongsaeng" Dae said

"See ya hyeong!" i said running down the stairs

As I ran down the stairs I ran into Min Ho and tripped on him. As i did we spun and he caught me by my waist

"Shit" He said "watch where you're going" before he noticed who i was. When he did

"Oh you've been avoiding me" He said

"Yeah that's great. Let go please i have places to be" i said and pulled his hand off me

"You weren't saying that a month ago" Min Ho said

"I was drunk Min, it was a fluke" i said and started walking

"Ah a fluke?" he asked following me

"Yes, an accident. Dae can never know" I said, reaching the landing on the stairs and turning to go down the next flight.

"Nobody knows" Min Ho said and i nodded

"Good let's keep it that way" I said, reaching the main floor.

He stopped, his hands in his pockets, and leaned closer to my face

"Are you sure?" he asked

"Yes" I stated, my heart rate picking up.

"Kika!" i heard Chana "their you are" she grabbed my arm

"Min Ho" she nodded to him

"Chana" Min Ho said "i'll talk to you later" he said to me and i nodded and he walked away.

Chana fully linked our arms "you totally were about to kiss"

"We were not" I said as we walked to the desk to get our girl.
