A little bit into the dinner, Min Ho spoke up
"I'm off to fulfill my density" Min Ho said
"Use protection" i smiled and he made face
"Haha have fun kiddio" he ruffled my hair as he walked past.

One how does he know that word and two, Kiddio? That's why I've been demoted too. I shook my head and went back to talking to Jin.
Professor finnetry offered Lee some of Kittys mashed potatoes
"Have you tried them yet? Kitty made them" he said, also i learned his first name is alex. Very white guy name for an Asian guy. I get it. Hell I'm Kristina, Kika is just a nickname because Dae wasn't able to say his R's when we were little, so instead of Kristi I was Kiki, and then Kika to keep the A at the end.
"They're good. Its my dads recipe" Kitty said "the secret ingredient is goat cheese"
"No, thank you" Proffers Lee said "i'm in the lactose intolerant majority, it's a commonality among most east asians"
"He's right, its why its mostly oil and spice to give our food flavor" Jin said and i chuckled
"I'll just have some more of Min Ho's japchae" Lee said
"Oh i didn't know" Kitty said
"Because you lack attention to detail" Lee said
"Hey!" I said and Lee looked at me.
"If you paid more attention your grades wouldn't be suffering" Lee said to kitty
"To be fair, my body got used to cheese. It was in everything where i grew up" Alex said
"How quaint" Lee said
"Have you spent much time abroad?" Alex asked
"I did my undergrad in the united states" Lee said
"Nice, where?" Jin asked and I looked at him. Were all trying to recuse Kitty from this awkward conversation
"The New England Conservatory," Lee said. I'm sorry this man lived in Boston and can't handle dairy?
"Really? You studied music?" alex asked
"It was youthful hubris. It's not a practical career" Lee said. Students around us were laughing and it apparently annoyed Lee so he smacked the table a few times to get their attention.
"Indoor voices! Please!" Lee demanded
My phone rang and I put down my chopsticks. It was a text from Min Ho
'SOS!! HELP ME!! NOW!'
I looked at Kittys bowl of mashed potatoes and it clicked in my head. Dairy
"Shoot" I mumbled
"Whats up" Jin asked
"Uh nothing uhm excuse me" I said and got up.
Dang it Min Ho. i rushed out the cafeteria and down the stairs. I swear to god.
