Kitty, Min Ho and I stood and watched as people arrived at the cafeteria for Chuseok.

"Well this escalated," Kitty said and Min Ho and I nodded, as I kept my hands in the pockets of my light brown fleece jacket. Q and florian walked up to us

"Wow" Q exclaimed "people are calling this Chin-gu-seok" and i laughed

"What?" Kitty asked

"It's a pun on Chinggu which means friend and Chuseok" Florian said

"You really have to work on your Korean," Chana said, walking up and hugging her

"You started a new tradition" I said

"Aw" Kitty exclaimed

We looked over and saw Lee walk in with Finnerty

"Oh no. no, no why is professor Lee here?" Kitty asked

"Because he's sad and alone" Min Ho said and then walked away

"He hates me and its mutual" Kitty said

"Dont worry its not like you have to sit with him" Q said and turned to put his coat on his chair

Min Ho walked back to our table to set food down

Madsion walked up to him "Min Ho! Hey"

I looked over, my hair slightly falling from behind my ear

"Hello madison" Min Ho said

"I wasn't expecting you to be here" Madison said "oh my god you cooked"

"Kika!" i heard someone call and i looked to see Jin walked in

"Jin!" I said waving over. He walked up to me and i hugged him

"Did you cook all this?" Jin asked

"No not even a little bit, but i helped with plating, and by that i mean i put it on the multi colored plates they had in the kitchen" I said, slightly embarrassed
"Its okay, i can't cook either" Jin said and I laughed

"Here you next to me" I said pointing to the seat next to mine at the end

"Perfect" Jin said and i smiled

I looked up to see Min Ho slightly staring at us from across the table as he talked to madison.

Once everyone had arrived and everyone sat down, Madison of course next to Min Ho

"How bout a toast kitty" Q suggested

"Okay" Kitty smiled "thank you so much for coming everybody."

I felt Jin place a hand on my knee as he leaned forward slightly to see Kitty

"This is my first Chuseok and from what I gather you're not supposed to do it alone. Maybe your family is thousands of miles away, like mine. Or maybe you don't really have a family. Or maybe you just like school, no judgment " Kitty said causing people to laugh

"Whatever the reason, im grateful we all have somewhere to be today" Kitty said "and for this chance to honor all our ancestors, so here's a toast" she grabbed her drink and everyone grabbed there's "to all of those who came before us, thanks mom, wherever you are" Kitty said and i pouted slightly

"Without you I wouldn't be here, literally on this earth or here at KISS and there's nowhere else I would rather be at this moment. cheers!"

"Cheers" Everyone said, some in korean some in english and everyone clinked their glasses together

"To Euni?" Min Ho offered his glass up

"To mom" i smiled, clinking mine to his and we smiled at each other. After a moment i turned to Jin and  started talking to him.
