Okay, it's about time I told the truth.

Earlier today at school was well, the weirdest day at school. I don't know how to describe it, but it just was. Actually, I don't know if it could get any weirder. Band class had just started, and Aaron had introduced a new piece to us. It was soon after we started playing our instruments - I play oboe - that a kid came running through the front door. "Leandro! Get back here!" We had heard someone yell from outside the door. The entire class was silent and were all staring at the kid running to the percussion section. I sit in the front row beside Noah, who plays flute, along with Logan behind us on French horn, who sits beside Sebastian, he plays tenor sax. Behind them is Steven, who would be moving his trombone slide in boredom as the kid went running past Charlene, who was in the percussion section. All of a sudden, we noticed Jason walk into the band room, looking for this kid. "Leandro, put down the maracas!" Jason had told him as he grabbed them off the shelf. Aaron went walking towards Jason. "Jason, whose kid is that?" Aaron had asked Jason. This must be some sort of nephew; cause Jason is way too young to be a father. "He's mine," Jason had told Aaron, causing everyone to stare at Jason, forgetting about Leandro running around the percussion section. "I'm confused," I had let out before I realized that I needed to shut up. There's no way that I should be confused. He does have a girlfriend, but I had no idea that he has a kid. Without saying a word, Jason had walked over and grabbed Leandro, who was now making a ruckus on the drum kit. "Sorry for the interruption," Jason had told us before he walked out of the room, and then set Leandro down again. "Leandro! Get back here!" We heard Jason yell at Leandro. He must've run off again.

"Who here finds it weird that Jason has a kid?" We heard Aaron ask from the front of the class with his hand up. Without a doubt, my hand was up. Apparently, I was the one who found it the weirdest, aside from Steven, who had no idea of what was going on. "Logan, you don't find it weird?" Aaron had asked him. Turning around to notice Logan's left leg crossed over and his French horn on top of his lap, leaving his fingers silently tapping the instrument, he had a let out, "Well, he has a girlfriend. They must've been having sex. I'm just saying I'm not surprised. These kind of things happen." "Yeah, when you're an adult," Steven had told Logan from behind him, causing Logan to look behind, seeing Steven moving his trombone slide while blowing little bits of air into it every once in a while. "I agree with Steven," I had told them, causing Logan to look at me, and then turned around to Charlene. "Charlene? Please comment," Logan had asked her quite sarcastically. "There's no comment coming from me. It's that simple," Charlene had told us before she had shut up. "Don't worry, I find it weird too," Noah had quietly whispered to me before we got back to our music. Well, that brings me to now. When class ended, which actually wasn't much longer after the incident, I decided I needed to talk to Logan. Like, why was he saying that it wasn't weird? Heading up to him as he was setting his instrument down to grab his music, I had asked, "Logan? I'm confused. Why would you say it's not weird that Jason has a kid?" "Look, it's just my opinion. That's all it is. Can you please drop this?" Logan had asked, as he was ready to head out the front door. "This conversation isn't over!" I had told him as he started heading to the door. "This conversation never happened!" Logan had yelled back before seeing Jade, his girlfriend waiting outside the door for him. Jade plays trumpet in the other half of the band.

"Amanda, don't worry too much about him," Sebastian had told me. "Yeah like you would think. I just don't understand where he's coming from. I know I wouldn't defend someone who has a kid, unless well, I had a kid," I had told Sebastian, watching and hearing the words coming out of my mouth. It all makes sense. Logan has a kid and he's defending Jason because of that. "Just what are you suggesting?" Sebastian had asked before he noticed the look on my face that I knew something. "Are you saying?" He had asked, standing up to face me. "It's the only thing that makes sense," I had told him. "Okay, you're crazy. It's just his opinion. You need to respect that," Sebastian had told me. Yeah I don't really care about that anymore. "I'm leaving," he had told me before he walked out of the door with Natalia, his girlfriend. She plays trumpet in our band. I needed to know what was going on with Logan. But if he's not going to listen, then I have to talk to Jade. Heading after her in the hall, I yelled out getting her attention, "Jade!" She was with Logan at the moment, until he walked away and Jade had come up to me. "Logan told me what happened in class today. A kid really came running through the percussion section?" Jade had asked me. "That's not what I want to talk about," I had told her. I wanted to talk to her about the possibility that the two of them had a kid. "If you want to talk about the possibility of Logan and I having a kid, you can kiss your ass goodbye cause you're not going to be getting the answer you're looking for," She had said before turning around. However, I was able to stop her from walking away.
