Chapter 52

2001 BCE, March 

Standing there in the farm, we had just run into a woman that I recognized. She was about to be attacked by a lion of some kind. I walked her past the woman, who probably had to be somewhere. She seemed to be in a hurry. I walk the wheelchair past a house that seemed to be burnt down to a crisp. The last thing you could find was the foundation. Just outside of the house, there was a stretcher of some kind, where there was a white cloth lying over top of it. "I recognize this place," she lets out. "It reminds me of my grandmother," she let out as we walked past. I don't remember my grandparents much, especially since I was sent to a nursery. Apparently my parents tried to use me in some sort of game when I was young. I don't remember much about it, but I do remember having to find my mom soon after something happened with my dad. Oh well, that's ancient history now. That happened years ago. But I'm glad that things worked out for Alex and Cashmere. When I was 15 my aunt tried reaching out to see if I could help her with something. I had told her no, because she was going crazy. She was talking about some woman named Bellafonte. It was from her that I heard that Alex and Cashmere were married. They truly were meant to be. You know there are some couples where it just seems meant to be. I know that Cashmere and Alex, Jasmine and James, Ellie and Hector, Erin and Luke, and even Jason and Snow, were meant to be. Leaving the wheelchair there, I head back to the farm. I couldn't bear the thought of it happening. I didn't want to be there when it happened. Getting under the covers of the bed, the tears slowly start to fall as I start to think about her. Hold on, what's this I hear?

"Remember, just like Alex and Cashmere, Jasmine and James, Ellie and Hector, Erin and Luke, and even Jason and Snow, our love will always be forever. Remember that Leandro."
