"Josephine, I need your help,"

I had told Josephine when we had met up at the public library. We were sitting in bean bag chairs, and we were reading different books. I was reading a book about a murder and Josephine was reading one about fairy tales. "What do you need my help with?" She had asked me, setting her book down. I still couldn't stop thinking about Alex and how I want to be with him. I want to be with him more than ever, and I wasn't going to let the fact that he didn't want to be with me bring me down. "Do you think you could try to find the place where Alex lives?" I had asked. I needed to speak to him. "Aren't you aware that he doesn't want to talk to you?" She had asked me. "I don't care. I want to see him," I had told her before she got up from the beanbag chair, set her book down, and headed to the nearest computer, with me following her. She went to a Canada 411 and had typed in his name to find his address. "You had his number before, right?" Josephine had asked. "I did," I had commented. "Check it to see if it matches up with one of these," Josephine had told me while I had got my phone out. I pulled up my contacts and Alex's info. There was a number that matched. "This is the one," I had told Josephine, pointing to the number that matched up on the computer screen. Josephine had grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil and had written down the address for me. "Thanks," I had told her before I had grabbed the piece of paper, set down the book, and headed out the door. I get into my car, and I drive to Alex's place. I got my driver's license last summer, and I've been meaning to find Alex's place for a while now.

He lives not that far from Archbishop Macbeth High School, and I hide behind the tree that's next to his house. I see his parents come out of the house and head to their car. Alex had come out and waved goodbye before his parents had driven off. I waited for Alex to head back in, and I pulled up. I waited a few seconds to see if Alex had noticed my car, and he didn't. Getting out of my car, I head up to the entrance and I ring the doorbell. It took a while until Alex had heard the doorbell. "I'm coming!" He exclaimed, before he opened the door, revealing that it was me. "Jacquelyn? What the hell are you doing here?" He had asked me rather rudely. "I need to talk to you," I had told him. "Just stay the hell away from me," he had told me before trying to slam the door in my face. I had grabbed the door, and without realizing what happened, the door was ripped off of the hinges. After throwing the door onto the front yard, Alex had backed up into the house, and I had followed him in. "What is going on?" Alex had asked, with a scared tone of voice. I had followed him in the bedroom, where I had grabbed onto him and straddled him on the floor. "Please don't do this," Alex had told me through the tears. It was then that I heard from around the corner, "Who are you?" It was Alex's younger sister. I didn't know that he had a sister. She had came, grabbed onto me, and took me off of Alex without any bruises. "You stay the hell away from him," she had told me. "Are you better now?" She had asked Alex once she had helped him up to his feet. "I better go take care of Rose," he had told before he went off. "Is Rose his girlfriend?" I asked her, standing up and facing her. "What? No. Rose is his 2 year-old kid. Just stay away from him. He doesn't want you and you just have to accept that," she had told me. "Whom did he have this kid with?" I had asked. "What makes you think I'll tell you?" She had asked me. She's got an attitude. "You better tell me," I had told her, leaning in towards her, and she had pushed me over, not realizing that she had sent me through the wall. I had landed on the grass at the front, looking back to see a hole left in the wall. "You will regret crossing me!" She had yelled out before Alex had rushed to the scene. "What the hell happened here?" Alex had asked, with his hands on his head, shocked from seeing the hole. "Lily! Explain yourself!" Alex had exclaimed. I should've known that it was her. I stood up, brushing off the dust and specks of wood off of my dress and I headed to my car.

I drove to my mother's place with her sister and brother-in-law at their place. As I drive, I'm taking out the specks of wood from the wall out of my hair. I know there's some in the back of my hair, and I can't reach it out now. Hopefully my cousin can help me. I pull up to the driveway, and I get out of the car and head straight to the door. "Jacquelyn! What a surprise!" I hear my mother exclaim. Her real name is Hannah Cantoon. "Is everything okay?" She had asked me. "I need help," I had told her, gesturing to my hair and she could see the wooden specks in it. "That's not good," she had commented. "Come on in, Jennifer is making lunch," she had told me before I walked in. I walk in the entrance to see before me a spiral staircase going up to the second level, and I go to my left, where I see the living room. The kitchen is in the far end corner where I see Aunt Jennifer cooking mac and cheese. "Something smells delicious!" I hear cousin Jack exclaim as he enters from the dining room. "Cousin Jack!" I exclaim. "Jacquelyn! It's so good to see you. How's tormenting Alex going?" He had asked me while I had sat at the island in the kitchen. "Not good. I was trying my best, but then that bitch of a sister he has threw me through a wall," I had told him. "Which explains the wooden specks," he had commented when he saw them.
