Okay,
I'll admit I was crazy. But I wasn't too crazy. Amy, you were crazy. Heck, crazy in love, that's what I was. I had just come back from seeing Ben, and I had told him what was bothering me. It was the fact that I was related to Alex and Lily because Hector raped Francesca when they were in high school. Ben had held me even though I could tell he was in shock from the news. Well, I guess it's official now. Hector is my father. Okay, we may not have a blood test done, but we're going to get that taken care of soon. In fact, Chris and I are on our way now to get that taken care of. Chris had talked to Alex, and he's tagging along with us, cause we need to see if it matches. "You're going to feel a light pinch," Doctor Henshaw had told me, rubbing alcohol on the spot where he was going to put the needle in. I was at the nearest blood clinic, and I was surprised that Doctor Henshaw was working there, and the fact that he said that he was going to be with each one of us, but one at a time, I found it a little weird. Anyway, after a few seconds of having the blood test done, I headed out to the waiting room where Chris and Alex were waiting for their turn. "Alex can come in," Doctor Henshaw had told him. I thought he was going to call in Chris, and then Alex. But I guess they need something to match it to, so that makes sense. Alex had headed in, leaving me with Chris in the waiting room. We didn't bring anything to do in the time being, so we just waited, but it got boring not doing anything. "Chris? Don't you think you should've gone in?" I had asked her. She didn't seem to mind it, yet I found it weird. "Well, the thing is, we know for sure that we're sisters. Right?" Chris had asked me, making me want to ask Doctor Henshaw to see Chris right after Alex. "I think I'm going to have to see Chris," I hear Doctor Henshaw say after Alex walked back into the waiting room. I guess that didn't take long. "Did something come up?" I had asked Doctor Henshaw, curious as to what the results were.
"I need to check something, so I need Chris to come in with me," Doctor Henshaw had told us, leaving me impatient and in the waiting room with Alex as Chris had left with Doctor Henshaw. "What do you think it could be?" I had asked Alex, my hands shaking. I was getting nervous, and a little impatient as well. I wanted to know the truth. "I'm sure everything's going to be fine," Alex had told me, reaching for my shaking hand. "You're cold," he had told me before taking off his jacket and putting it on me. "Thanks," I had said as I lightly grabbed the edges of the jacket and pulled it over my arms as Chris came back into the room. "I don't know how to explain it, so all three of you should just come back with me," Doctor Henshaw had told all three of us. I didn't like where this was going. "Like I said, everything's going to be fine," Alex had told me, taking his arm and comforting me as we headed back there. The closer we got, the more my gut felt like something was wrong. "The paper is on the counter. I don't know how to explain it," Doctor Henshaw had told us before leaving. Alex grabbed my hand and we looked at the paper. Wait, I don't understand. Alex and Chris match, yet Chris and I don't. "What?" I had asked out loud in shock, looking over at Chris who was sharing the same look as Alex. "So, Chris and I are related, but you and I aren't?" Alex had asked; leaving a look on his face that was probably going to scar me for life. "How is this possible?" Chris had added on, just to make me more scared. "How are we not related? We share the same birthmother, right?" I asked. Once I heard my voice saying those words, my face became wet with tears. I couldn't believe it. HOW ARE CHRIS AND I NOT RELATED?
Bolting after Doctor Henshaw, I caught him at the front counter with another person. "What are you hiding from me?" I had asked him, cutting in front of the other person. Alex was heading towards me and grabbed me by the waist. "I want the truth!" I had yelled out as Alex had carried me out by the waist before I caused a scene there. Well it was too late; I already started one. "Amy, you need to calm down," Alex had told me when we were outside the clinic. "I want the truth," I had told him once he had lowered his hands. "You're not going to find it there. He only knows that we're not related, and that's it," Alex had told me, calming me down. I took a deep breath before I walked away. "I need Michael," I had told Alex once I calmed myself. "I haven't seen him in a long time. Do you really think this is a good idea?" Alex had asked. "I don't care. I need to see him," I had told Alex while I had got my phone out of my pocket. I still had on Alex's jacket. Texting Michael, I asked him if Alex, Chris, and I could see him. Michael replied away, saying that he'll see us, but not Alex. I seriously don't know why they can't just resolve the conflict between the two of them. I reply back to Michael saying that it's either Alex comes with us or we don't see Michael at all. Michael had eventually replied saying that Alex could come. We headed straight to Michael's apartment. Alex didn't want to come, but I insisted that he came. It was about time Alex and Michael resolved the conflict between the two of them. We knocked on Michael's door, and he answered right away, ignoring Alex.
