2. Book

"Ughhh"

I just got home, I'm hungry but I am more tired so I just walk straight to my bed without opening the lights. Waking up grogilly the next morning because of my screaming belly, I slowly got up to change my clothes. I'm tired from this ceaseless cycle, i want to stop this loop.

*sigh~

Wow, that's my first sigh for the day, congrats me! I broke my own record hehe. Getting up from my comfortable bed, I walk to get my apartment key to leave my house. I'm going to the convenience store downstairs to have my breakfast since i haven't restocked my grocery for the month. After eating, I walk back to my apartment and took a bath. After bathing, I hastily put my beauty products to my face and walk out of the bathroom.

"What should I do? I still have the time before I go back to work"

Thinking, I remember that I brought a novel book when I walk to a unique store full of books while buying my grocery in the mall.

-Flashback-

I visited because the store has me completely enthralled. When I opened the door, the employee that I caught up is an old woman. Around mid 70s. I got shock to see an elderly that is still working in the mall. No offense but she should quit just enjoy her life at this time, people deserve a break. She is sitting by the counter. While looking at the books, I found a book that is new to me. Not to brag but when I was in highschool, I am quite a book addict. I collected books, physically and electronically. Then put them on full display in my big shelf after I read it.

Anyways, back to the book that I found, the plot of the book is about a world full of beautiful beastmen. They are people who can transform from human to an animal. To be exact, a beast. It says that, there lived a super alluring female. Every beastmen loved to be her mate when she matured. Because of the uneven scale between a man and woman, women can build their own harem, and live like a queen for the rest of their life. But Saray don't want that, she wants to be independent and free, that is why she fake her death and lived to be a boy from the help of her knowledge. After that, below the description lay a question, it says

"How will Saray be able to maintain her disguise to fool her fellow beastmen? Read the story to quench your curiosity and support Saray through her adventures"

Opps, I read it out loud, heh well; there's no people here so i think it's fine. And this is not a library, I'm sure that I am allowed to talk. Finding the book quite interesting, I walk to the counter to pay. The old lady
smiled at me and says...

"Every book that the store posess is unique and alive. It can help you see your future and guide you for your actions."

I chuckled at that time because of the witty salestalk of the old lady. How can a book help me see my future? Let alone be a guide? I think she needs to rest .

*chuckles~

"Grandma, it's not good to still work when your at the age of retirement. You should rest and enjoy your life!"

"Ohohohoho, I will, thank you for your concern child"

After paying the book, I return back home.

Should I read it to past time? I should right? Okay, time to find it! I think I read the first pages of the story, and got bored so I just put it in my drawer. Then I got super busy with work and totally forgotten it. But now i think the book will sufface as my entertainment since my life is so much duller than her life.
