It had been over two months now Lamar, and I had been getting along a little better. I wanted to wait until the holidays were over before I broke the news to Lamar that I had went to Real-estate school. Before I took my exam, I interviewed at this small real estate office by the name of Wilson and Associates. When I interviewed with the Broker, she was a very nice woman. I told her all about myself and what gave me an interest in being an agent. She hired me that day, and now I am a Realtor. I sold my first home within my first two weeks. I knew exactly what I was going to do with my commission. I was going to put it down on a nice place. I was more excited about going out looking for places now, because I knew exactly what I wanted. I had invited Lamar over to the house to speak with him about the news. When I broke the news to him, needless to say that he didn't take it very well. He asked how was I going to pay for a place to live in? He actually acted like a big ass baby when I told him. I told him that I wanted to sell the house, or he could buy me out. If you guessed it, he flew off the handle. On a positive note, Anthony and I have still been seeing one another. I have to admit that I was still hung up on Lamar's crazy ass. I actually felt bad when I told him that I was looking for a new place to live. I don't know why but he still had something over me, and I just couldn't shake it. Today Anthony is going out with me to look at different places. Anthony came to pick me up. He was just as excited as I was, he said it's because he's happy because I am happy. I knew it is because he didn't like the way Lamar just comes around any time he wants. Not to mention I haven't let him stay over since the Lamar incident.

"Knock, knock," Anthony said through the slightly ajar door. I saw him pulling up and I ran over to the closet to get my coat.

"I'm just getting my coat," I said, and I pulled the back of my hair from under my coat.

"I'm going to go wait in the car," he said as he pointed with his thumb.

"Okay," I said as I shut the closet door. Then I went into the kitchen to get my gloves off of the countertop. I shut the door and ran down the stairs, and hopped into the car. " I'm all set and ready to go find me a place to live.

"Yeah, the sooner, the better," Anthony said as he pulled out of the driveway. "So where are we going first?" Anthony asked as he pulled up to the stop sign.

"Well, I have some places that I would like to look at. In the city since I haven't found anything where I have been looking. I know that my parents will be a little disappointed, but I don't know what else I can do." I said as I pulled the list of houses and condos out of my briefcase. I want to start at a place that is right around the corner. The layout of the place seems to be nice."

It was a very quiet drive on the way over to the condo. A lot of things were going through my mind. I just stared at Anthony and thought about how happy I was when I was around him. I took my hand and slowly stroked the back of his neck. He let out a big sigh of relief and looked over at me.

"Umm, that feels so good," he said as he quickly took a glance at me. "You are beautiful do you know that?"

I smiled and said, "Well you know some people have told me before, but now since you've said it, I guess it has to be true." I said as I giggled a little and smiled.

"No, I really mean it." he said as he stopped at a red light. "You always make light of the situation when I tell you that you are beautiful like it is a joke. I am truly sincere in what I say to you. You make me happy, and I love you. I have never lied to you, and I never will.

I sat there looking in his eyes, thinking, what was I supposed to say to that? I'm sitting here joking, and he is being all serious and shit. The only thing that I could think to say was, "The light's green." then I looked forward and said, "Here it is just up on the left."

When we walked into the lobby, it was very impressive. When we went up the elevator, we push the 10th floor. When the doors opened, we walked down the hallway, looking for the door that had 1003 on it. The hallway was nice and clean I guess that was a nice start.

"Here it is." I took the key out of my purse and opened the door when I walked in. It was better than I anticipated, soon as I walked in it was this giant living room with beautiful hardwood floors at this point, I was sold. The kitchen was off to the right and open. Across the living room was this large window that reached from one side to the other with two sliding glass doors to walk out on to the patio. To get to the patio you had to first walk up three steps which had enough space for maybe two chairs to sit and relax read the paper or a good book. There was even a fireplace in the living room. I was in love and I didn't even see the bedrooms yet. To the left of the living room was a hallway where the bedrooms were located when I walked into the second bedroom it was a room that was bigger than Lamar's room. When I walked into the master bedroom, it was a nice size it wasn't as big as my bedroom, but it was still very spacious.

"I love it. This is the best place that I have seen so far. I want it." I said as I grabbed him around his neck and gave him a kiss. "Do you like it as much as I like it because if you don't, I can look at other places?"

"Hold up. It doesn't matter what I like. Anything that you like I will love. Quite frankly, anything is better than where you are right now as long as I can spend some time with you." he said as he grabbed my chin and lifted my face up and kissed me on my forehead, then on my nose, then on my lips. "So, are you going to go for it?"

"Yeah, I think that I am."
