The next day at school Kenny kept giving Cassie dirty looks and wasn't really talking to her. She knew that it was about what happened the night before. And she felt bad that he was mad so she gave him space. Every class the two had together they were sat next to one another and every time she would try to talk to him he would either get up and act like he had to get a tissue or he would just flat out ignore her. She was fed up by lunch but didn't say anything because she knew and understood why he was mad. By the end of the school day she just wanted him to hurry up and get over it.

Cassie was kicking a rock down the side walk on her way to the dojo. No one could drive her cause the middle school got out at 3 and practice started at 2:30 because high school gets out before the other schools. She had only been walking for 10 minutes and she was almost at the dojo. She wasn't paying attention to her surroundings as her thoughts were consumed with what she thought to be more important things, like what her and Lia were gonna do this weekend. Loud scrappy footsteps from behind made her jump back to reality. She turned around and let out the smallest gasp.

"Oh hey Kenny, Robby, Tori what's up" Cassie tried to act clueless about why they were so close to her so they would leave her alone.

"What's up? What's up! You know what's up, your little friends tried embarrassing us" Tori said stepping closer to her. Cassie watched enough of Tori and Sam's fights to know that if she showed her fear she would have no chance of winning so she stood her ground and gave Tori a sharp glare.

"Tried to or did" Cassie instantly regretted her words. All the goons around Kenny and Robby started to circle her and she knew there was no chance she could take them all at once.

"Oh wow big mouth I think we should teach  Miyagi-do a lesson" Robby said with an evil smirk. "Kenny you strike first" Robby said looking at Kenny. Kenny tensed up but got into a fighting stance.

"Hey you don't have to do this ok" Cassie pleaded, trying to stop him but it was no use, he swung his fist and hit Cassie right in the nose. Then they all came at her.

She tried to fight back but there were too many of them. Robby and Kenny's punches hurt the most. They betrayed her and every punch from them broke her heart a little more.

She was on the ground being kicked and punched everywhere. She could barely breathe. She tried to scream but nothing came out, she was out of air. Blood covered to bottom half of Cassie's face, from the many hits to her nose and the split lip she now had.

"Please stop, please" Cassie begged with all her strength. trying to get them to stop but they didn't. She wasn't even sure they heard her from how soft her voice was. Kenny went in for the final hit and that was the one that made her stop kicking, she  could feel her body ache and luckily they started to walk away.

"Make sure miyagi-do gets the message" Tori said kicking Cassie to the side of the side walk. As they walked away she grabbed onto a bar on the fence and tried to pull her weak self up but couldn't. Everything hurt. Where ever she moved It stung and ached. Her nose and lip were bleeding and her knees and wrist felt almost numb from the overwhelming pain. No one was around to help her until she heard a voice in the distance call out her name.

It was Anthony LaRusso.

He ran faster than she had ever seen him run. frightened at the sight of her, Anthony knelt down to Cassie lifting her head onto his lap getting it off the concrete.
