I hung up the phone and sighed. Why did he have to leave when summer just started. I put down my phone and walked out of my room. It was a terrible idea cause I walked into what looked like a toddlers art project. There was weird music playing, card board taped to the hallway trying to act as old timey doors, a sign that said jail above it, and an oddly impressive beer can cactus. I was distracted from my confusion with the door opening and Miguel and my dad walking in. Miguel held the same confused look that I had.

"Don't worry Robby isn't here" my dad reassured Miguel and walked up to Robby's door. Even though Robby was in his room. I knew my dad was up to something weird.

"What's all this" Miguel was clearly referring to the Alamo reenactment that was going on in my living room.

"Don't worry about it" my dad knocked on Robby's door and I sat on the couch not wanting to miss out on what was about to happen. Miguel turned to me puzzled as to what was going on,I just shrugged my shoulders at him and looked back at the cardboard doors seeing Robby walk out.

"You literally just said he wasn't here" Miguel rolled his eyes.

"Yea well I lied again not my fault you fell for it twice" my dad sassed back as Miguel sighed. "But you guys are right tricking you guys into lunch wasn't my best effort. So I did some interneting. "Glued the windows shut so no one gets out of here unless you work together, oh and Cassie you can't help your to smart for this crap go braid your hair or something in your room"the compliment seemed back handed but I still stood up and hurried to my room wanting out of the tension filled awkward space.
