We Are All With You

Anthony's  POV:

Cassie's head was rested on my shoulder as her breathing fell steady. My arm was still draped around her shoulder while my other hand held my phone as I scrolled through different apps I started to get bored so I put my phone down and looked at the tv at the random NEWS channel that was playing and just sat watching it as Miguel, Robby, and Sam talked about Silver and his dojo.

"I'm gonna go see how my dad's doing" sam told the two boys as she stood up and left leaving only Robby, Miguel. Cassie, and I. My eyes slowly started to close as I leaned my head gently on Cassie's head. Before I could drift off to a peaceful sleep I was startled by Robby.

"Anthony we need to have a little talk" My eyes quickly opened and I was very much alert now.

"About what" I asked even though I fully knew it was about Cassie. I looked at the angel like girl that was still leaning into me asleep.

"You know what this is about" he looked
at her then at me. "Cassie" Miguel spoke up.

"Cassie's is like the little sister I never had, I've been looking after her for years and I swear to god if you hurt her we will kill you." Miguel  sternly glared at me. Fear swept onto my face for a moment but  quickly went away because I knew I would never hurt her and I hoped they knew that.

"Miguel I can promise you that I will never hurt her" I promised "I would never even think of it"

"And Kenny still isn't over what happened at the tournament I know he wants to get back at her,  so we have to look out for her. Do you understand that?" Robby asked.

"yeah-Yes of course I understand that and I promise to look out for her." I told them and then I remember how Cassie reacted to what Kenny said at the water park and how she looked scared when Kenny brought up how she got attacked a few months ago.  I thought they should be the ones to talk to her about it because they would be most likely to help her better than I could, I mean the last time I tried to talk to her about it she said she didn't want to talk about it with me. "There is one thing you should talk to her about" I was trying to figure out what words to use.

"What, what is it?" Miguel asked confused.

"At the water park when, um.. me and Cassie when to get slushies Kenny started messing with her and she was used to it so it didn't bother her but as soon as he brought up her getting attacked two months ago she froze. I've never seen her like that. She needs to talk about it with someone but she doesn't want to talk to me about it. Can you just I don't know, have her talk to guys I can see it's killing her." I told Miguel and Robby. I felt Cassie shift alittle and checked to see if she was still asleep which she was. When I looked back up I could see Miguel and Robby looking at each other seriously.

"Yea of course, I didn't even think to talk to her about it. We definitely will" Miguel said as he put his hands on his legs and leaned back.

"Alrighty Cass, Miguel, Robby let's hit the road, oh your still here." Johnny walked with his keys out in his hand. He gave me a look that got more intense when he noticed Cassie asleep on me. The boys slowly got up and Miguel made his way to Cassie gently scooping her up out of my arms.

"We'll take her to the car. See ya Anthony" Miguel walked down the hallway to the front door with Robby following.

"Bye Anthony" Robby said as he opened the door for Miguel. That left me in the room with Johnny I stood up and was about to walk away when he grabbed my shoulder and pulled my ear inches from his face.
