The Diner Party

It was now the weekend and the whole week at school Anthony and his friends have been giving me dirty looks but today it's about to get a whole lot worse. Miguel, Carman, my dad, and I all had to have dinner at the LaRusso's house and I'd have to be around Anthony all night and my eye still hasn't healed fully and neither has Anthony's.

"Cassie are you ready" my dad yelled from down the hall.

"Yea dad I'm coming" I said running down the hall in a blue dress ankle length with my hair curled and white air forces.

"Ok let's go Carmen and Miguel are outside" my dad said walking out the door. I followed my dad out the door and to the car with Miguel who was in a fancy shirt and pants and Carmen who was in a pretty red dress and heels.

"Ok Cassie be nice don't cause trouble" Miguel warned me as I stepped into the car.

"Mr LaRussos my sensi and I love Sam don't worry" I reassured him.

"I'm more worried about Anthony" Miguel said sitting in the car.

"It'll be fine" I said as we started to drive.

At the LaRusso's

Miguel knocked on the door with Johnny standing next to him while I was standing next to Carmen. The door opened and there stood mrs.LaRusso in a green dress with a bright smile on her face.

"Hello everyone come in come in" she said while gesturing us inside. I was the last to walk in and when I did I made direct eye contact with Anthony who still had a busted lip and a black eye. I quickly looked down and used my hair to cover my eye so the LaRusso's wouldn't notice.

"Hey everybody come to the dinning room for dinner" mr LaRusso welcomed us as we made our way to the dinner table. I was still looking down not wanting anyone to notice my eye. We all sat down and started eating and talking about Sam and Miguel and what college Miguel wanted to go to. While Miguel was talking he accidentally spilled wine on mr LaRusso. My dad trying to change the subject after the mess was cleaned up said the worst thing he could have said in that situation.

"What happened to you kid" my stupidly clueless dad said to Anthony.

"Oh he was walking home and him and his friends saw a kid being bullied and like the god kid he is he stood up for them" mr LaRusso said patting his son on the shoulder with a smile on his face.

"Oh really when was this just wondering" Carmen asked to trying to put two and two together.

"Umm Monday I think" Anthony said

"Oh really how funny,Cassie also had an incident Monday what a coincidence" my dad said pulling my head up revealing a black eye. As everyone pieced it together Anthony was just smirking at me as I was staring in horror.

"Wait you were the bully or you where getting bullied" Miguel was still trying to piece it together.

"Neither Anthony was the bully I was standing up for my friend" I was getting defensive now and so was Anthony cause he had just stood up from the table.

"That is so not true" he yelled back

"Oh really so you just accidentally jumped Kenny at the park" I stood up matching the same volume Anthony did. Everyone was looking at us and after I said that every stared at Anthony.

" we didn't jump Kenny, he broke my phone and you were the one that threw the first punch" Anthony was trying to defend himself.

"ONLY because you tried to hit me and I blocked it"

"STOP you two in the living room NOW" Mr.LaRusso said as he stood up along with my dad. Me and Anthony stood up and walked to the living room followed by our dads. We both were told to sit on the couch and Mr LaRusso was giving us a disappointed look.

"Ok tell us the truth what really happened" Mr LaRusso said.

I was about to tell them the truth but Anthony cut me off.

"We got in an argument and our friends were telling us to fight so we did but we're all good now. Right Cassie?" Anthony said as he turned and gave me a look that told me to go along with the story.

"You're an idiot" I snapped back. They all had just heard us disagree with that story not even 3 minutes ago.  "What really happened was-" I stopped for a brief second and met eyes with a quietly pleading Anthony. I knew that I should snitch but something stopped me. I Lied. " Kenny accidentally broke Anthony's phone so Anthony got mad and I tried to stop the two from fighting and it turned into a fight but yea we'll be fine."

"Ok but fighting still is not the answer. I'm glad you worked it out but don't resort to fighting." Mr LaRusso said.

"Yea what he said" my dad chimed in wanting to be apart of it.

"Now your both in big trouble" mr LaRusso said as he pointed at Anthony. "No video games and phone for a week your grounded" he added as he took Anthony's phone.

"Yea same goes for you even though you kicked his ass" my dad said taking my phone.

"But that's not fair" I said angrily.

"Want us to bench you from the tournament too?"  Mr LaRusso and my dad left the room.

"This is all your fault if you hadn't been so annoying and hit me none of this would have happened" Anthony said sounding really mad.

"How about thank you Cassie for not telling my parents that I'm a huge bully. AND How is it my fault, if you weren't bullying Kenny then this wouldn't be happening right now" I yelled back at him as I got up and walked out and back to the dinning room. I stayed quiet the whole rest of the night.

On the way home

"You dumbass why'd you lie what was the point" my dad said as he was driving us home.

" I knew you would get mad also that story is bull shit" I said really irritated."he was really bullying a kid in my grade named Kenny and I went to help him and got punched in the eye so I fought them all off" I was so mad that we lied that I had to tell them the truth.

"Next time come to me I can help" Miguel said "so you don't get hurt cause your an idiot" he continued which made me laugh.

" ok next time I'll come get you" I said while laughing.

" hey here's your phone. I just didn't want LaRusso to try and be better at parenting then me." My dad said.

"Thanks dad" I smiled and took my phone back. We finally got home to the little apartments and I went straight to the couch to watch tv.

"Good night Miguel! Good night Carmen!" I said as I waved from the couch.

Why does Anthony Have to be so annoying?!? Was all I was really thinking for the rest of the night.
