"A music store?" You asked. Reading the big sign up at the top of the thin door you all had parked in front of.

"Mm hmm," he smiled. Taking your hand in his as he escorted you out of the vehicle and out onto the sidewalk. "And you may get anything you'd want. Same goes for our next stop, as well."

You raised a brow and threw him a smirk.

"Anything?" You mused. Jokingly batting your lashes as you looked up at him. "As in, as much as I want, if that's what it comes down to?"

He chuckled and nodded. "If that is what you wish."

You pursed your lips and looked ahead. Allowing him to begin leading you into the shop.

"Hope you don't break your bank all on my account." You said. A bit touched by his offer.

He shrugged and opened the door for you.

"Ladies first," he offered. "And my dear... I think it best if you soon realize spending money is simply not an issue for me."

You walked in through the threshold of the door and you were greeted with the smokey aroma of incense burning. Looking at the different record players and radios they had on display as well as all the boxes filled to the brink with records of many different genres. From big bands, blues, jazz, swing, to classical- from local to even foreign music; this place had it all.

Alastor chuckled sweetly at your doe-eyed expression as you took in the environment around you. Feeling a soft blanket of warmth in his chest as he watched your awed expression morph to one of excitement. He found you so... what was the word?

Amusing?

Precious?

He leaned down to whisper in your ear, so close you almost shuddered at the feeling of his breath on your neck.

"I know our situation is unusual and not an easy one to adjust to. And I don't want you to pretend that it isn't." He said honestly. "But regardless of your trust in the matter, I do think fondly of you. And it would satiate my nerves greatly if I were able to bring you some semblance of relief or amusement. So go on, nothing is too much. Pick out whatever you'd like, darling."

His words gave you a slight chill. That and his voice, so smooth and effortless. Together it was a dangerous combination; soothing as a lullaby and as tempting as a devils promise. You didn't know what to say. You were almost too stunned to speak. But, he didn't need to tell you twice.

So like a child lost in a candy store, you went forward and began browsing through everything.

Alastor couldn't help but watch in deep amusement as you would go back and forth between quiet, intense focus as you sifted through the various records and then to running quite excitedly to different sections of the store to continue looking. Chuckling softly as every now and again your eyes would light up and your lips would curl into a gentle smile when you saw something worth keeping.

He sifted through a box or two, but he hardly really looked. Mostly he was interested in observing you. He found it charming how innocently delighted you seemed. He figured bringing you to the bookstore later would spur the same result.

When you were done you approached Alastor with a thick stack; needing both arms to carry them. He couldn't help but release a soft laugh at the sight.

"Let me carry some for you." He offered. "Here,"

Taking a few from you he began to look through some of what you had picked out. His fingers dancing along the borders of the cases as he did so, with ginger and careful touch.
