"So we're thinking about hosting the Christmas party, this year." Dante started. "Seeing as last year was a bit of a bust."
"Yes that stock market crash really knocked a lot of people off their feet," Alastor commented before picking up another forkful of rice and shrimp. "No one really felt like partying for a while. I think that's a wonderful idea! That would be just around the corner then, yes?"
"We're thinking a few weeks from now." He nodded. "Before the actual holiday."
"We're invited, I take it?" Al mused with a playful smirk.
"You're expected!" He chirped back delightfully. "Why I'd round up a search party if you didn't show up."
"I suggest you should, seeing as I wouldn't miss it!"
"Would you be in attendance, Miss Y/n?" Dante pried with a smile.
You glanced up at him from your plate, but Alastor answered for you. Which was fine considering you were still chewing your food.
"Of course she would, don't be ridiculous." Alastor said, waving his hand as if to dismiss the question. Folding his hands under his chin he turned to look at you once more. "Those parties used to be such a grand time. I'd quite like to enjoy another with her by my side."
"Flatterer." You jested back with a smile. "I'd like that. It sounds like it could be nice."
"We'll have fun." He said lowly with a smile. Just inaudible enough for the other two to miss it but enough for you to catch.
After a few moments everyone had finished eating and was left more than satisfied after their meal. Dante and Vic thanked Alastor -and you, of course- profusely for all the food. You both merely smiled and said you were delighted they enjoyed it.
Once the dishes were brought into the kitchen (Alastor insisted you both worry about them tomorrow, instead of right away), he lead the three of you into his one recreation room. One of a few, anyway. This one was more of a game room whereas the other was more of a music room.
You recognized this room from the few times he had brought you in there. It had a billiards table, a couple of dartboards, and even a single wooden bowling lane. You and Alastor had spent a couple nights in here, mostly bowling. That was usually when neither of you felt like reading or going out; so you were acquainted with it.
"Don't think I forgot your little party favor." Alastor mused with a knowing look. Reaching into his inner coat pocket and pulling out a clear, thumb sized vial sealed with a cork; a familiar looking white powder within it.
Oh, great. More cocaine.
Alastor looked back behind him as his colleagues followed suit into the room, and told them to think fast before tossing the vial over to them.
Victor's eyes widened slightly with a hint of excitement when he caught it, while Dante let out a soft, excited 'hoot!' as he looked at the contents of the glass.
"You know just how to make a man feel welcome, Alastor!"
"What can I say, I aim to make people smile." He jested.

"Christ this is good shit." Dante said with a sniffle. Holding his left nostril closed so he could further snort the lingering stimulant in his other one. The powder burning, but only for a moment, before numbing his face from the feeling and the smell and taste.
"Still have ties with a Columbian trade." Alastor mused with a snicker. "Between this and their coffee, I think their main priority is to simply keep everyone awake!"
