We got to the car and Justin opened my door for me. Then, he shut my door and jogged over to his side.
"So where are we going?"
"Well, I looked up some nice places in the area and I found this restaurant called Dominic's. Have you heard of it?"
"Yeah I have, it's on the Hill."
"What's The Hill?"
"It's a street with a bunch of Italian restaurants on it some of them have been then for forever."
"Is that a good place to go?"
"Yeah, that's a perfect place to go. Do you need directions?"
"No, I can just put them in the GPS. What do you want to listen to?" Justin flipped trough the stations on the radio
"You got a lot of country stations here."
"Yeah, we got a lot of variety of people. We have the rich white people, the cool athlete white people, the super country people, funny ass black people, and some crazy ones."
"Wow, what a city."
"Yeah, tell me about it. That's why I left, and it's pretty boring here. I love California though."
"You know, it's crazy we've lived in the same city for three years now and we've never met. I think that the big man brought us together here for some reason."
I smiled. That's exactly what I thought.
The radio was on a country station,
"You know, I love country music." I said.
"Really? I couldn't really ever get into it."
"Some of these songs tell really great stories, and some don't really tell any kind of story but they're still good. I'm gonna get you to like at least a couple of country songs."
"You can try."
"I like rap too, don't worry."
"Ok good I was about to get worried for a second." He playfully said.
"I like a little bit of everything really."
Justin got out his phone and the cord to play the music on the speakers.
The music started playing, "Swerve."
I laughed really loud and he started rapping, "Lamborghini mercy, yo chick she so thirsty. I'm in that juicy Lambo with yo girl she tryin' to jerk me." He rapped every word to the song.
I tried to keep up but only could do a couple of verses. I always thought it was so funny when he rapped and I still do.
"SWERVE!"
"Justin!" I laughed and playfully punched his arm.
A couple of minutes later another song came on.
"LOOK ME IN MY FACE I AIN'T GOT NO WORRIES! I AIN'T GOT NO WORRIES! I AIN'T GOT NO WORRIES!" Justin rapped to the song and started dancing as best as he could in a car.
We both laughed and I attempted to keep up with him as he rapped.
We pulled into the parking lot and he turned down the radio. He unbuckled his seatbelt and went over to my side to open my door and grabbed my hand to help me get out.
We walked into the restaurant arm in arm. He told the hostess we had a reservation and gave her his name. Not that he needed to, by the look on her face she was in shock to have him speaking to her.
