Madelyn turned around to see Dallas kneeling in front of her with a beautiful ring in his hand. She covered her face with her hands and smiled as tears welled up in her eyes.

"Madelyn June Reyes," he spoke with a smile on his face, and she could see the love in his eyes. "Will you marry me?" he asked, barely able to finish his question before she nodded. "Yes, yes, I'll marry you!" she put her hand out as he slid the ring onto her finger.

She knew who he was before and his reputation. Dallas Winston, the cold and mean juvenile delinquent who couldn't love or care for anyone. But it turns out he can because he fell in love with his best friend.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him, feeling the love and warmth radiating from him. She knew that they were meant to be together and that nothing could ever tear them apart.

"I love you Lynnie," he said with a smile, one hand gently cupping her cheek and the other resting on her lower back, pulling her closer to him.

"I love you too, Dally," she replied, staring deep into his eyes with a big smile on her face.

After strolling around the city for a while, they decided to go to Bucks. As they walked in, he pushed Madelyn's hair behind her ear and kissed down her jaw a couple of times. Madelyn giggled and ran through the empty bar, "Come on fiancé."

He caught up to her, gliding his hands down her hips and kissing her neck. They made their way upstairs and Dallas picked her up with ease. After closing the door, he placed her carefully on the bed.

Dallas pulled Madelyn's top off and she tugged at the bottom of his, signaling him to take it off. He placed his hand under her bra and she moaned his name into their kiss. She unclipped the bra, and he stared down at her bare chest, complimenting her beauty, "damn doll, you're gorgeous,"before kissing her lips.

Madelyn sat up in the bed with the sheets covering her chest, brushing through her messy hair with her fingers. She turned and watched as Dallas grabbed a cigarette, stuck it between his lips, and blew smoke out in the shape of an "O." She smiled at her man and turned to grab one of his t-shirts that was lying on the floor.

As she reached over, a piece of folded paper with her name on it caught her eye. "What's this?" she asked, pulling the paper out from the bedside table. Dallas hesitated for a moment before replying, "Oh, that's just... yeah."

Curiosity getting the best of her, Madelyn opened the paper, her eyes scanning the words.

Dear Madelyn

you have the most beautiful smile. it's the only one that can take my breath away. the way the corners of your mouth crease when you laugh. the way your eyes light up with joy. you make everything feel magical. your happiness is worth more than my weight in gold.

i really do adore you. i want to give you all that i can, to show you how lovely you are. no one else compares to you. nobody matters like you do.

Love Dal

Madelyn read the letter with tears streaming down her face. She turned to Dallas, her voice barely above a whisper. "Oh, Dally," she said, before kissing him tenderly.

"I really do adore you," he said, placing a hand on her waist. She felt the warmth of his touch, and it made her heart flutter. She crawled over him, and whispered, "I adore you too."

As she looked into his eyes, she knew that she had loved him from the moment they first kissed. It was a strange, addicting love that she couldn't quite explain.
