After a short walk, the group arrived at Bucks. A couple of people were passed out in the yard, and the music was blasting from inside. "I'm so ready to get wasted," Two-Bit sang, running up the porch stairs. "Same," Madelyn laughed, following Two-Bit through the house.

Madelyn found Two-Bit at the bar, with a beer waiting for her. "Oooo thanks, Two," she said, taking a sip of the beer and looking around the place. "Do you think Dally is here anywhere?" she asked, holding the beer by the bottom.

"Uhm, hold on," Two-Bit said, lifting one finger. Madelyn watched as he talked to Buck for a minute before turning back. "He said Dally might show up later," Two-Bit informed her. The atmosphere was lively, and the smell of alcohol filled the air as the group settled in for a night of fun.

As the night progressed, Two-Bit and Madelyn continued to take shots and laugh about anything that came to mind. They were having a great time, but eventually, Buck told them to take a break and sit down on the couch. So that's where they went, resting their heads back and putting their feet on the coffee table.

"Hey hey hey," Madelyn tapped Two-Bit's arm repeatedly. "What what what?" he asked, opening his eyes. "I'm gonna go get a beer, want one?" she asked, pushing herself up. "Yes, please," he replied, closing his eyes again.

Madelyn made her way through the crowd of people and walked toward the bar before stopping in her tracks.

Madelyn's eyes widened as she realized what had caught her attention. Dallas was sitting on a bar stool with some random broad all over him. She sucked in her breath, trying not to jump to conclusions. She couldn't help it; her mind wandered to bad ideas. Tears formed in her eyes, but she didn't cry. Instead, she shoved her emotions down and went back to Two-Bit. She left before she could see Dallas trying to push the girl off him.

"Where are the beers?" Two-Bit asked, but he stopped when he saw that Madelyn wasn't smiling. "What's wrong?" he asked as she sat down. "It's probably nothing, but Dally was at the bar, and some broad was all over him," she pushed her hair back.

"Yeah, it's probably nothing. I doubt he went along with her," Two-Bit said, trying to reassure her. Madelyn blinked quickly, so no tears would fall. "I'll go get some beers," he said, standing up and making his way to the bar.

Madelyn sat on the couch, feeling a mix of emotions. She didn't want to be the jealous girlfriend, but she couldn't help the way she felt. She took a deep breath and tried to calm down, hoping that Two-Bit would return soon with the beers.

Two-Bit was serving drinks back and forth, and Madelyn was quickly getting hammered. She didn't think about where Dallas was and went to get another drink. However, before she could ask Buck for another, Dallas turned her around in her seat.

"Hey beautiful, I haven't seen you all day," he said with a smile. Madelyn stared back blankly, unsure if Dallas had done anything wrong. Although she trusted him deeply, she still had doubts occasionally, which made her feel terrible.

Dallas noticed Madelyn's drunken state and asked, "Hey, are you okay? How much have you had to drink?" He pushed her hair behind her ears, which was sticking to her face. Madelyn didn't reply but pushed his hands down. This made Dallas angry quickly, and he asked, "What's your problem?"

Madelyn explained that she saw Dallas with another woman, and she was scared that he would choose her over Madelyn.

Madelyn turned away, trying to stay calm, but her words were slurred, and she felt dizzier as the alcohol stayed in her system.

Dallas noticed that Madelyn was drunk but he tried to defend himself, saying, "No, that's not it. Well, yeah, she was there, but I pushed her away." He attempted to grab Madelyn's hand, but she pushed it away and said, "I'm sorry, but I need to sit." She grabbed her drink and went to sit back on the couch with Two.

Madelyn told Two what had happened, and he apologized. However, Two soon fell asleep on the couch, leaving Madelyn alone. She stumbled to get another drink, but Buck declined to give her one. Feeling desperate, she snuck a beer while he wasn't looking.

As the night wore on, Madelyn found herself standing in the hallway with a pounding headache, feeling alone and abandoned.

Soda noticed that Madelyn was drunk and needed sleep, so he asked, "Hey Mads, you good?" Madelyn replied, "No, I feel gross and I have a bad headache, and I drank way too much." Soda then suggested, "You could probably crash upstairs. Need help?" Madelyn just nodded her head, and Soda took her hand.

The journey upstairs was slow and painful, with Madelyn struggling to keep her balance. Eventually, they made it to her room, where she kicked off her shoes and threw her t-shirt on the floor.

Soda helped her under the sheets, making sure she was comfortable before he left the room.

As they were settling in, Dallas pushed the door open to see if Madelyn was there. Soda saw him but didn't say anything. Madelyn interrupted before Dallas could speak, calling out for Soda.

"Soda?" she mumbled, curling up in a ball under the blankets. "What's up, kid?" Soda asked, approaching her bed.

Madelyn then asked, "Did you hear about Dallas?" biting the inside of her cheek. "Yeah, Two-Bit told me, I'm sorry. Y'all just need to talk," Soda tried to reassure her. "Yeah, it's just that I think I lo- I don't know, and he's just per- i don't know, I'm scared to get hurt, you know," Madelyn said, looking at her hands.

"Yeah, just get some sleep. We'll deal with it later," Soda said as she closed her eyes.

As he was leaving the room, Soda turned to Dallas and told him that he needed to fix things with Madelyn.

Dallas quietly asked, "You sleeping?" Madelyn responded with her eyes still closed, "No I can't, my stomach hurts too bad." "Look, Lynnie I'm sorry," he apologized sitting at the end of the bed.

"Go away Dallas" she didn't turn her head towards him. "Please can we talk Mads, I'm sorry nothing happened" he continued to ask her.

Madelyn asked him to lay down, saying, "Lay down, we can talk about it tomorrow, I want quiet right now." She took a deep breath and stretched out her legs, while Dallas fell onto the pillow and looked up at the ceiling with his hands behind his head.

It took forever for the two of them to fall asleep, but they didn't talk. Madelyn didn't really want to talk, and Dallas respected her wishes for quiet. The room was filled with silence, except for the sound of their breathing and the occasional creak of the bed. Despite the tension between them, they were both exhausted and eventually drifted off to sleep.
