We found our weapons and I grabbed my knife, gun, and bat, I ran my thumb over my first initial and the R at the beginning of Rhee carved into it, I remembered Glenn and everything the two of us went through, I remembered Rick trusting me with my gun and I remember killing Sophia with the same gun, every weapon I held had a different memory attached good and bad, while I thought of Glenn with the knife I also thought of the night in the car, the woman and man, I still had scars on my wrists from the belt "hey, you ok?" Carl snapped me out of my train of thought, and I smiled nodding at him. "Big day, you know, out of all the wars I've been in a still get nervous at the start of one" I huffed and there was a knock on the door, Negan came walking into the room and Carl left us to talk. "I still remember the first time I saw you again, so ready to die for a group you call family" he smiled and shook his head, and I clenched my fist taking a deep breath "remember when you tried to kill me? Fun times kid" he laughed and I stopped myself before the door "I think about that day every night when I try to sleep, Glenn and Abraham are both in my dreams every night telling me to kill you! You want to know why I really left? If I stayed, they would have needed to pull me off your dead body, I would have beat you so bad you wouldn't be able to come back, but the reason I didn't was so you would never have a chance of seeing mom again, because in the long run, you don't deserve it! You never deserved either of us!" I started to cry as I looked at him and the smile he had grown fell from his face.

"You told me to kill you, you stood on the watch tower and almost begged me to kill you? Are the nightmares the reason?" he asked, and I wiped my eyes, the tear kept coming "when you looked at me that night, you didn't see your daughter, you saw another one of Ricks people to kill, that's why I told you to kill me, to see if what I thought was true" he stopped and hugged me, holding my head close to his chest "absolutely not, I have always seen you as me daughter but that night, I saw myself in you, I saw the red in your eyes, I saw the anger, I never wanted to be the reason you felt like that, but you feel like that because of the commonwealth now, I want you to make it burn" he whispered and I nodded wiping my eyes for good and I made sure I had everything. "Long talk in there yeah?" Daryl asked and I nodded, Judith came from behind me "let's go" she huffed and daryl shook his head "no, I need you here" he disagreed and Judith shook her head "that's crap, this isn't the future Carl wants, not what our parents fought for, what were doing could help everyone, plus if the pregnant one gets to go, I should to" she hugged and I crouched down "Judith, if I let you join you must stay close to us at all times, do not put yourself in the way of fire ever, if one of those geeks get close to you, yell for me and I will let myself get bit before they touch you. Understood?" I asked and she nodded "I do, and I promise to watch your back" she smiled, and I huffed grabbing my bat with a smile and putting a lighter in my pocket "then let's burn it to the fucking ground" I earned a dirty look from Daryl and Carol "excuse my French" I smiled and Judith smiled "hey RJ can you stay here, and please be safe for me?" I got down to his level and he hugged me, I pulled Ricks badge from my pocket "this was your dads, now its yours only the bravest and smartest people carry badges like this, so I think you rightfully should" I kissed his head, and he gave Carl a hug before we left to the train.

On the train

Carl and I were put in a car with Negan and Maggie, Carl was tracing letters on my stomach softly making me laugh G-I-R-L I smacked his hand softly with a laugh and he kissed my head "Kid about earlier, I know we both have had our multiple differences but I want to be there for that kid, whenever it comes along I want to be in the waiting room to meet it" Negan huffed and I smiled "maybe you can bond with Daryl in there" Carl laughed and I giggled "any names?" he asked and I smiled "we have some if it's a guy but for a girl we have Liya, Enid, and Sophie or Sophia" I smiled and Negan nodded "what about Enid Liya Grimes? Or Sophia Liya Grimes?" he questioned, and I smiled "I like those" I looked up at Carl and he nodded kissing me. "We should have just stolen Glenn" I smiled at Maggie, and she smiled shaking her head "what about Otis? Or Shane?" she asked, and I shrugged "if it's a boy" I smiled and I laid my head on Carl, resting my eyes.

Eventually we went to a back entrance, it was a tunnel under the east wall that led into Union Station "do you guys trust me?" I asked and everyone looked at me "depends?" Carol questioned and I picked a rock up, it was heavy but it would work, I threw it as hand and far as I could hitting a car, it was far enough to allow us to make it inside, one the guards were far enough everyone ran and before I could run I stayed back, two of the four came towards where I was hiding but they got a call on the walkie to abandon post and as soon as I was in the clear I ran inside the door to see everyone waiting we waled through the tunnel staying aware, we kept our guns raised as Maggie and I led the group. Maggie handed me her gun as she climbed up and we followed, it was too quiet, the doors were locked shut with chains and then I looked up in just enough time, the bullet just grazed my arm as I went to turn my body in attempt to stop everyone from moving, if I had been a second late to looking up I would have a hole in my arm, carl ducked beside me and he tore his shirt to wrap my arm "can you shoot?" he asked and I nodded, it was just a graze, not as deep as it could be" I winced and he tied the shirt tight.

I looked up to see Judith push Maggie out of the way, the bullet hitting her instead, grabbed my gun and I slid over to Judith shooting one of the men in the head, missing Pamala and the other guy, Ezekiel threw the fire extinguisher and I turned my gun shooting it at the same time Daryl did causing it to explode Daryl picked up Judith and I put Ricks gun in my pants as we ran with her.

We got to the streets and a truck blocked our exit, we turned down a street and there was another truck, we had nowhere to go, a group of troopers left us with the swarm of walkers, except the walkers could climb and they were different, they were evolved "what the fuck?" I questioned at the same time as Negan and he looked at me with a worried expression. Two started to run and I hugged them "Luke Jules!" I exclaimed hugging them "I missed you, but we can fill each other in later" he huffed turning to the hoard we decided on making a way out for Daryl through an alley but we had to distract we all started shooting and pushing back on them, there were so many I got separated from everyone, Carl went with Judith and Daryl but other than that I was alone, I killed a walker but twisted my ankle falling, I stood up and kept running, I heard someone yelling about the hospital and I tried to get through but the walkers were still coming.
