actually important!!

this has been the biggest thing since the first chapters, I never said Y/N was white, only that she had a white dad. In my eyes Y/N has tan skin on the darker side & obviously her face and body type is the same as yours.

I never specified her mother's skin or race so you could still feel as if Y/N was your character while still having Negan as your dad.

the next thing I wanted to discuss was her style. this isn't a big thing that is brought up but I wanted to clarify that this book is in the apocalypse, so obviously she won't have the most perfect looking clean clothes so get that lovely image out of your beautiful minds, think dingy ripped jeans and shirts that have old dirt and blood stains, lots of hand me downs from past members like Glenn and Shane,  only when she gets to the common wealth do I think shed start to wear little cute sundresses and much cleaner and new clothes that are pretty and not really in her comfort zone.

Commonwealth is also going to be the start of her pregnancy, but I promise that will NOT change Y/N in any way, she will still be bad ass and overall, just a really cool character. It'd be against my morals to have a pregnant character who cand get her hands dirty.

the last thing is the most important thing other than her skin tone and that's my plans for after I finish this book, obviously I have ideas for sequels that follow the rick and Michonne series, obviously the adventures of Carl & Y/N won't be done yet. I don't know if I'll write another book with carl or if I'll write a book for another character but there will be one once I get an idea. the ending of this book is something very special to me.

I've watched the walking dead since I was younger than 10, I went from being scared of walkers to having dreams of killing them, the walking dead is such a big thing influence for me, more or less the characters, that show basically formed my personality. so obviously writing a book for my second favorite character was going to be a big deal for me to do, it had to be perfect so i started the book in 2021 and scene by scene, episode by episode to write this book to make it perfect, not only for myself but for whoever may read it someday.

it really hit me that some people really like this book when I got a comment that someone couldn't stop talking about it to one of their Irl friends, then I knew that I had made something amazing, although it's not my most popular book it still has a very special place in my heat and it's a comfort for me to have this book that I can publish and use as my safe space because I know that the chapter I write may not be the longest but you guys read it either way and don't complain, you guys make me feel good about my writing.

This is my thank you to the readers of this book, to the people who comment on the book and make me laugh and smile, to the people who hate Ron as much as the next person, and for the people who love Carl Grimes as much as I do, if not more. this thank you is for you, and even if you don't follow me to read my other books, and the walking dead books coming in the future I still love you and I still thank you for taking you time to read this book.

Till the end,
