/Second Chances/ ROTTMNT!Donnie x reader

Hello my loves! So, little announcement, and a small something I need to talk about.

First, remember when I had said many chapters ago that I'd try to make a 2012Leo x reader that connects to this book when I got more hyperfixated on 2012?? Well, I am starting one, however it's a bit different than the one I originally planned.

I'll still be making that one at some point, but rn I've gotten my best friend absolutely obsessed with TMNT, and we're making a series for 2012!

We wanted to escape reality and do something with our combined creativity that we'd both love, much like I did when I first started this book, so we've made OCs that will be love interests for Leo and Donnie (cuz she adores don and I adore Leo), and we are currently working on preparing the story for writing and publishing.

I cannot say when it will be out, but i can say that we've been as working hard on it as we can.

So, what does this mean And why am I telling y'all this? Well, one I wanted to just rant about something I'm excited about, but I also need to say how it'll effect this book.

If I'm being completely honest, I might need to take a hiatus on this book and post purely when I have the time to work on chapters. I have also been hyperfixating on Demon Slayer (I have thought of writing for that, but it's unlikely ATM.), So I have even less time.

This means I probably will not be getting chapters up nearly as much as I normally would. I am still going to get the 69th chapter out to y'all as soon as I can, I'm working on it rn in fact. But after that, it's unlikely that I'll be posting for this story much at all.

As for the 12!Leo book, I might still do that, but my brain is too busy working on our book series that I don't want to overwork myself, and I probably wouldn't have the motivation anyway.

Ik it's not needed, but to be able to still post sometimes, if y'all want, I can start taking requests and doing really small oneshots and putting them in this book. Or I can make a real oneshot book for nearly any character and any request, as long as I know the character and show. They'd have to be simple, but I still want to get cute content out to my favorite people on this app, so I'll definitely try to do it.

To everyone that will comment about me not overworking myself, I am well aware, and I genuinely appreciate the concern so very much. I will take care of myself, but because of the speed at which me and my friend can work on our story, I'll still have some time, especially with summer literally starting next week (this feels so friggin weird to say, like- how tf is it already almost summer of 2023?!).  I simply will not be able to write long fully thought out chapters like I'm currently doing.

If anyone wants to request small oneshots, you can comment on this paragraph, and I'll do what I can after I finish the 69th chap.

I have stated guidelines for chapter requests before, but basically I'll do pretty much anything as long as Donnie and Y/n is the only romantic pair, while everyone else is platonic or familial. Other than that, it's basically the normal rules for any other oneshots book. No Tc*st, incest, I can do slight spice or smut like I have already done in this book, but no lemons or limes, and no major angst.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I absolutely adore and cherish every single one of you amazing readers. You all make me smile like Donnie did when he altered the guy's minds with every single comment you make, and I genuinely look forward to seeing what you all have to say. I do read every comment, and I will continue to do so.

I thank you all for being here and supporting me, I am so grateful that I have been graced with such an amazing audience.
