Y/n's POV

Leonardo's final day looms ever closer, which means even more of everything, stacked onto everyone all at once.

Training, mental and physical health, getting everything for the party, decorating the lair for the party, even something as simple as free time was still filled with anticipation, planning, and restlessness.

Today, finally, we all have everything mostly in place. So, in slight celebration for all of our job well dones, we get a free day.

Everyone's doing their own thing. April's goin on a date with her Sunita, Leo and raph decided to go to the mystic pizza place, and Donnie locked himself in the garage again, not even letting me in.

The adults are mainly just hanging around. Leonardo is in the hidden city with Draxum doing something, I'm not quite sure what, while splinter is just watching his TV shows.

As for me and Mikey, well he decided to use his free day to make more small decorations for the party, and dragged me along with him.

Recently because of my mind and thoughts, I would be at home isolating myself, but I actually would rather be with someone. Especially Mikey.

Why Mikey and not Donnie or one of the others? Because I've been needing to talk to him about his hands. And this was finally my perfect opportunity. Plus Donnie has been acting strange, so I thought I'd give him a little space so he doesn't get overstimulated.

Currently, me and Mikey were in his room, drawing and coloring on a bunch of papers that were scattered across the floor. We've been in here for a while, and I made sure to keep an eye on him and his hands.

They seemed to be shaking more, and he seemed to be going slower than before. It even got to the point where he threw away some of his drawings because they weren't good enough.

At one point, I had just about enough of it, and picked up a black sharpie. I fully sat up, rolled my hoodie sleeves up, and began just making lines on my arms and hands with the marker.

Mikey quickly noticed, like I knew he would. "Y/n? What are you doing? The sharpies are for the paper," he inquired, scooting closer to me to watch.

I looked at him and smiled, looking back at my work holding my arms out Infront of us. "Couldn't think of what to draw, so I made these cool markings! What do ya think?" He stared at my arms with a look of confusion.

"How could marks like that be cool? And why'd you draw them with a sharpie? You know they'll last longer like that!" Mikey wasn't having it, but neither was i.

"They're cool because they add detail. I'm sure yours are even cooler than mine, considering they show that you're a real hero."

After I spoke, I just went right back to coloring on my arms, adding tiny lines that branch off of the bigger ones giving them a lightening type feel.

I could feel Mikey's stare, and when he processed what exactly I said, he stuttered. "Wha.. you noticed? B-but.. they make me unfocused, and then draxum lectured me, they're not cool at all!" His retort made me stop.

I looked at him once more, then I looked down at his hands and moved to take one. He visibly flinched when I did so.

"Can I see them?" I asked and waited a second. He only responded with a confused and dejected stare. I took this as a yes, and gently grabbed his hand, bringing it up to observe the glowing orange marks that ran down his entire forearm.
