Y/n's POV

"DONNIE!" I irritatedly barged into the garage, where Donnie was once again working on the turtle tank.

It was late the next morning, and I had just gotten out of the shower. Earlier, Donnie woke me up so I could get breakfast, and he said that he'd be in the garage.

I couldn't get any food however, because as I was getting dressed I noticed something. More specifically, on my shoulder.

Donnie slightly jumped at the volume of my voice, and looked over at me before jumping off of the tank.

"Y/n? What's wrong? Why are you so red?" He commented on my flustered face, so I stopped infront of him. "Dee, I want you to carefully pull my sleeve off the shoulder that you bit last night." I crossed my arms, glaring at the boy.

He got confused, but he listened and saw what he had done. The spot that he bit was a deep reddish purple, and the places that were bleeding had tiny scabs on them.

He stared at my shoulder, then he looked at me. Completely calm. I was getting a little more irritated, so I sighed. "You gave me a damn Hickey dude. Not to mention it's probably going to scar. And if someone sees it, imma have no choice but to rat you out because I don't think something falling on it causing the bruise would also cause bite marks." I spelled it out for him, but he still didn't seem bothered apart from his cheeks turning just a couple shades darker.

In fact, I saw a very small grin appear. "Good." I stared dumbfounded at him, then I groaned and grabbed his hand, dragging him into the turtle tank.

Donnie followed me without a care in the world, and once we were in the tank I shut and locked the doors, then I turned to him. "Ok, what is with you? Last night you were all vague about me innocently comparing you and Leo in terms of relationships, then you fucking restrained and bit me, then you have no reaction to it turning into a damn Hickey!" I scolded him, trying to get answers.

Donnie just shrugged though. "I didn't want you-" I was sick of hearing it. "No, no don't you dare say 'oh I didn't want you talking about Leo like that', I want to know the real reason why you're so... Not you, right now." I tried to not totally snap at him, but I wasn't in the best of moods.

The softshell looked away from me, so I sighed and hovered my finger over a big red button while moving my other hand and propping it on my waist. "Tell me or I'll put the tank on lockdown." I threatened, and finally got him to crack.

Only, he didn't verbally crack. His eyes changed and he thought about something, and when he finished, he walked closer to me and didn't stop til I was practically pinned against his console.

He crossed his arms and looked down at me. "Y/n, did you know that turtles, much like humans, feel jealousy? Turtle jealousy is much different than human jealousy, but the two emotions do possess certain similarities." My eyebrows furrowed at his random fun fact.

It was obvious in hindsight, but in the moment I couldn't get what he was implying. "Uh, yes? Almost everything can get jealous. What's your point?" He grinned and uncrossed his arms, sliding one under my arm and around my back, and bringing the other to my outstretched hand, holding it softly whilst bringing it back to my side.

He carefully but swiftly pulled me up against him, ultimately making my previous plan fly out the window. "And what do you think would happen when turtle jealousy gets mixed with human jealousy? Would it be naturally stronger? Or would it stay relatively the same with certain variants on behavior?" He inquired, raising an eyebrow.
