Chapter 7 A new mission briefing and backstories.

Jindaraja: "You will go to the far north of the isles, there were large amounts of enemy forces spotted there, furthermore we spotted them digging through the hill, we cannot let them complete the tunnel if they do, they will have an excellent opportunity to cut off our forces in the north from supplies and forcing them to retreat, and we cannot risk the north falling, as it is the only natural defensive position what separates the main base from the enemy, the way there is filled with just plains, if they were to push through we would not have much time to prepare. Any questions?"

Rubashi: "Yes sir, how will we make the tunnel collapse, modern technology does not work here and we don't possess such destructive abilities."

Jindaraja: "Well, to answer your question. I don't know. Because only Hanzo knows, Hanzo has been experimenting for the last year and managed to cheat the system in some ways, like making explosives, of course, they are a lot weaker than their modern counterparts, but they will do the job."

Rubashi looked at Hanzo with a smirk.

Rubashi: "So all this time you were thinking of how to blow those bastards up, you should have told me, I would have gladly helped you."

Hanzo: "That was not the only thing I was working on, and what would you help me with? Being my test subject? You are all skill Rubes, but no brain. No offense."

Rubashi faked being hurt and put his hand on his heart.

Rubashi: "Outch, why are you so mean man, words hurt."

Rumi: "Cry about it, and besides, what are the other things you are working on?"

Rubashi: "That is still a secret."

Rumi: "C'mon..."

Jindaraja: "As much as I like listening to your group's bickering, time is of the essence, we need to strike fast, in and out."

Takashi then mutters.

Takashi: "That's what she said."

The only person to hear this was however Rumi. And she was quietly giggling at the back.

Jindaraja: "Now you need to prepare, you will be heading out tomorrow evening, so pack all the things you need, it will be a 2-day journey, and you will set up a campsite in the middle of the journey, you will then reach the target at the end of the second day, and under the blanket of darkness plant the explosives make the tunnel explode, burying everything inside and get quickly out of there. For this plan to work you will need to split yourself into two teams, Rubashi and Hanzo will be team one, Hanzo will plant the explosives inside the tunnel and Rubashi will guard him and protect him from potential attackers. Team 2 will consist of Takashi, Zabuza, and Rumi. Rumi has a power that is very bright, good for attracting attention, and perfect for a distraction. And finally, Takashi and Zabuza will make sure Rumi does not get herself killed while doing so."

Jindaraja and Takashi winced as he said that.

Zabuza: "How about the road there? How safe is it?"

Jindaraja: "It should be safe up until the border crossing, it will be heavily guarded, so you will have to sneak through, however, we got good ghillie suits just delivered, so as long as you stay low, you should get through easily. Now, don't waste any more time, and enjoy the rest of today while you can."

Takashi: "Yes commander."

Takashi then turns to the rest of the team and tells them that he needs to discuss some personal matters with Jinderaja, so they should go now, and not wait for him.

Jindaraja: "What is it Takashi?"

Takashi: "I heard the change in your tone Jindaraja. This is it, isn't it? someone is going to die on this mission."
