Hanzo was standing at the entrance to the cave, his once clean uniform now soaked in blood that was being slowly washed away by the slow rain that started while he was inside. He was looking up into the sky, his face showing no emotion, but that quickly changed, his face began to change into the face of conflict and then full-on breakdown. His grip on his sword loosened and it clanged to the ground. His knees followed soon. And once he kneeled on the ground he began to cry. His body suddenly became weak and dizzy so he had to support himself with his hands.
Hanzo: WHY ME! WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE TO BE THE CHOSEN ONE! WHY DO I HAVE TO DO THIS?! WHY, JUST WHY! I DID NOT WANT POWER, I JUST WANTED EVERYONE TO LEAVE ME ALONE, AND TREAT ME LIKE A NORMAL PERSON, AND NOW I'M STANDING HERE WITH BLOOD ON MY HANDS! RUBASHI! RUMI! I HAVE COMPLETED THE PROMISE I MADE YOU! PLEASE IF YOU ARE SOMEHOW LISTENING, RID ME OF THIS, RID ME OF THE VASTAYA FEATURES! RID ME OF THOSE BLOODY EYES, RID ME OF THAT POWER TO BREAK A PERSON IN A SINGLE PUNCH! LET ME LIVE MY OWN LIFE!
As if on cue, Hanzo was hit with a wave of exhaustion and a lot of stress trauma, having flashes of everyone in his past right in front of his eyes, his sword not helping as it was once his mentor.
But in the end, even if Hanzo fought against these thoughts they won and Hanzo went to sleep.
But all of that dizziness, and pain was not because of the memories, Hanzo was getting better each day, slowly coming to a realization that what was done was done and that he could not do anything. All of this was caused by his Sharingan eyes learning to revert back to the normal state, and his vastaya features learning to feed into nonexistence, being concealed. In this event, Hanzo managed more than he could ever have achieved with 10 years of training. Fully adapting Sharigan into his body. His body finally adapted the eye as its own and allowed it to spread into the other eye, Hanzo's own eye. And once it had fully adapted thanks to this breakdown, it was able to access the mana organ in Hanzo's body without a problem, allowing the eye to finally rest and revert back into its normal state with no fear of not managing to return. His Vastaya features in Hanzo's moment of weakness finally adapted to his body and strengthened his connection to his energy power too. His power and mastery of the energy rose rapidly and on top of that, Hanzo now disposed of his ability to retract his features, though it came as a trade-off for significantly weakening his power over the energy manipulation those features granted him.
3 hours later.
Hanzo finally woke up, it was starting to get dark and Hanzo still had stuff to do, so not remembering what happened and why was he on the ground he got up and trapped his sword. The rain had ceased, so that was going for him. Hanzo suddenly remembered that he was there to punish the bandits and retrieve any valuables and give them back to the village, however, he saw the dead bodies of bandits and no carts of valuables gathered, so he went off to collect whatever he could to get it back to the village.
However, when he turned to get to the treasures scattered all around the place he saw all the dead people, women, children, man. All were lying lifeless, some were missing heads or other appendages. Hanzo once he saw that just done one thing, threw up. He lacked any other negative emotion compared to before, just pure disgust with himself and the act he had done, even if he saw it as justified and as saving more lives than he took.
After Hanzo finished throwing up he finally opened his eyes and saw a weird sight, with the little light that was left of the day he saw a reflection, but his reflection lacked his vastaya ears, or Sharigan for that matter. Hanzo was too tired to check and brushed it off as his lack of sleep, stress, and poor lighting conditions. He then went to gather the treasures, and there were a lot of them. Hanzo even made a makeshift box to get them into, he then called on his jet which he learned had artificial intelligence and could be called upon from longer distances, so he used that and in just a few minutes it was there. The jet hovered above the box full of treasures and Hanzo with newfound levitation powers thanks to the rage he had before managed to tie the ropes to the jet, however, he had to do it multiple times as this was him using it just for the second time and he felt weirdly weak in energy manipulation department, and along with that, his vision was worse too. But even all that was brushed aside by Hanzo's mind as simple signs of exhaustion.
